Big Foot is the cabin you've been searching for. This adorable condo is perfect for 2-4 people with its spacious open floor plan. There are two bedrooms, both with king sized beds, and one bathroom that features a shower/tub combo. With the cozy gas fireplace, and big screen TV, you can cuddle up and watch your favorite show or movie. The fully stocked full kitchen has everything you need to cook a basic meal or step out on the wrap around porch and grill some steaks for the family. Tucked in the back of the Alto Alps, Big Foot offers breath-taking views of the cool, tall pines, and the quiet tranquility of the fresh mountain air. Just a short drive to the Ski Apachi, and Flying J Ranch, you'll be sure to find everything to entertain the whole group. Wildlife is never far away.......here you will see deer, elk, wild horses...and in the warmer months you might even see a black bear! If you're needing a little extra space, Little Foot is located directly under Big Foot and offers room for up to 4 more sleepers, and also includes another bathroom, and full kitchen.

A Place in the Forest
Property had easy access, was attractive, relatively quiet, comfortable furniture, well supplied kitchen, great deck, gas grill. Needed better hand towels in baths. Good TV. Main room plus both bedrooms. Beautiful wildlife.

Nice cabin, not trailer friendly!
Went to ride motorcycles, trailered our bikes, trying to get in and out was a nightmare! Otherwise cabin was nice, beds very soft…. Otherwise, just as noted in listing.

Big Foot Condo
This was a perfect place for our "friends" getaway. It is nestled off the main road, and can be a bit tricky to get to-especially in the dark, but we loved the peace and quiet. The condo was very nice and appointed nicely, other than only leaving one set of towels per guest for a 3 night stay. We did do a load of towels while we were there, but we prefer not to do laundry while on vacation! Overall I would recommend this condo and would not be opposed to staying there again.

Great set up for two to four! Nice balcony and grill. TVs in each room and it’s of sweet deer running around! Nice, clean amenities! We’d stay again!

Conveniently located! Close to the road to the slopes!
This was a great place to stay. I "think" it is a tri-plex. There were people under us with kids and we could hear them, especially in the back bedroom, and the people next to us were remodeling and we could hear that. Otherwise, this unit is in the very back of a quiet neighborhood. 13 deer were consistently around in the mornings and afternoons and a few would take baby carrots and apples right out of our hands (toss some carrots to them to get them interested, then the brave ones come to you). This unit has 2 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom and the best part - each has a king bed (no arguing from the daughters about sister’s kicking in the night!)! This unit is fully remodeled and has nice flooring, appliances, etc. Smart TVs - we were able to log into Netflix. Good wifi signal. Kitchen supplies were sufficient for food we brought with us, but don’t expect to be cooking any family-style meals. There were 2 large non-stick pots that could be used for soup or chili, but no cookie sheets or casserole pans for the oven. They only supply one towel and one washcloth per person (4 in total), so I was glad I brought extra. There is a washer (BYO detergent) if you want to do laundry. Turn on the ice maker as soon as you arrive if you want ice. The deck is large, but view is primarily of large trees and you can see a small clearing were the deer hang out. If it snows, you are going to have a difficult time because this is up/down/twisty/narrow road to get back to it but so is everything in Ruidoso and Ski Apache. This was our first time at Ruidoso. We loved the location of this unit because it is sooooo close to the road to go to the slopes and to tubing at Winter Park. It would have added 15 or 20 minutes each way if we had stayed in the town of Ruidoso. I suggest that you go to the Ski Apache in-town location, just a few minutes away on the highway from the condo, to buy your lift tickets and rent your equipment because the lines at the slopes at Ski Apache are LONG and the service to get your equipment is less than spectacular, but the in-town shop was outstanding and equipment was better and service was great! Plus, the lockers were not available because of Covid so that left people having to use their vehicles as lockers with long walks in ski boots back and forth. Non-skiers can buy gondola tickets and ride up with the skiers. You must eat at in-town at Cornerstone Bakery Cafe. We loved our accommodations!

If you have paid by credit card, we will charge your card on file for the remaining balance the day of arrival. If your reservation is during the Chiristmas/ New Years holiday, you will be charged 50% of the total reservation and the remaining balance December 1st.

A completed “Vacation Rental Agreement” is required within 24-hours to hold your reservation. The Rental Deposit equal to one night of your stay is due upon receipt. Review and acceptance of the Mountain Air Cabins Terms & Conditions which is made part of this rental agreement is required before a confirmation will be issued.

RATES:
Rates are quoted on a per night basis. Unless specified, check-in time is after 4:00 p.m., and checkout by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Most rates quoted are for a specified number of people, additional guests are subject to a per person, per day charge. Charges vary and are subject to change without notice. All properties represented by Mountain Air Cabins come fully equipped with television(s), linens, dishes and utensils and an initial supply of soap and paper goods. Other amenities vary per property.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES (NOT included in rate):
Rates do NOT include daily maid service (unless noted), gratuities, or excessive cleaning upon departure (i.e. dishes, trashes, upholstery or rug shampooing, etc.), or pets.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS:
Payment of the applicable Rental Fee equal to 50% of your stay together with a completed Guest Reservation Application must be received and approved by Mountain Air Cabins before a confirmation will be issued. No grace period will apply. Final payment, consisting of the remaining balance, must be received by Mountain Air Cabins the day of guest arrival (or immediately if booked the same day of arrival). Failure to make final payments on a timely basis will make reservation subject to automatic cancellation.

CONDITION OF RENTAL:
The property shall be in the same condition upon departure as at check-in. Normal wear and tear excepted. Dishes need to be washed and put away, kitchen surfaces wiped, and trashes taken to the dumpster. There will be a minimum $50 fee for unwashed dishes or excessive cleaning. Owner or its agents may enter the property at reasonable times to make repairs or provide maid service. Guest may cook in areas specifically designated for cooking. Guest must immediately notify Owner or agent of fire or other damage to property. Guest shall be liable for all acts of the family, invitees, employees, or other persons invited onto the property. Guest may not sublet or assign this rental agreement. Guest shall be responsible to return all keys and gate or garage door openers upon departure. Guest shall abide by the House Rules of the Owner, Property Manager, Condominium Association and/or the Booking Agent as provided to Guest. Guests shall not bring any unauthorized pets onto the property. Any unauthorized pets are subject to a minimum fine of $50 per pet and/ or eviction with forfeiture of any monies paid. In pet approved properties, pets should be kept in a kennel if the owner is not in the cabin with them and on a leash if outside. Smoking indoors is not permitted in any property. Any evidence of indoor smoking will be charged a minimum of a $250 fine. No parties shall
