The Timbers on Fall River was finished in early summer 2023. We love this home so very much, we'd love to host you here, and we hope you enjoy being here as much as we do.
The Timbers is in a small river valley, in the evening shadow cast by Deer Mountain. You'll fall asleep to the sound of rushing water all summer, and you'll wake up in the fall to the siren song of bugling elk.
There aren't many homes closer to Rocky Mountain National Park than mine. Animals come down to feast on the grass in the yard. The views are astonishing, the Milky Way is bright, and the quiet is a new sound to many.
This is a place to get away from everything and totally reset, all the while enjoying brand new, luxurious and modern mountain living.
The National Park entry gate is just a few minutes up the road, but we encourage you to stay home and relax! On summer and fall evenings, enjoy the outdoor fireplace, BBQ and dual patios -- or bring everything inside during winter's first snow and cozy up in front of a second fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked, the media room's TV is 75" of high def goodness, and the beds are brand new and beyond comfortable.

Kitchen - Our kitchen is loaded with brand new appliances big and small. For coffee lovers, there's a grinder, drip machine and French press. A bar area with seating means the chef won't be left alone. Great for socializing and hanging out.
Open Living Area - Our home has an open lower living/kitchen/dining area that flows together. Giant windows maximize the epic views, and huge glass doors open onto the two patios. This is great for warm summer evenings because they bring the outdoors in. The living area has comfortable seating, a cozy gas fireplace, and a big smart TV.
Entertainment - The upstairs media room has a huge 75" smart TV loaded with all your favorite channels. A smaller TV in the living room is great for smaller, quieter nights. A house-wide stereo system sets the mood.

Our home is located in a lovely private neighborhood across the street from Fall River, about a minute to the entry gate to Rocky Mountain National Park. We are in a small river valley with incredible views of Deer Mountain. Because we're so close to the National Park, wildlife is everywhere. As an added bonus, we are a quick 7 minute drive to the heart of Estes Park, where you can enjoy all the best food and shopping in the mountains of Northern Colorado.
Anyone traveling to Estes should have an AWD or 4WD vehicle from early October to the end of May. Mountain weather is notoriously fickle, and can change in minutes. Two wheel drive is totally fine during the summer. We cannot assist if you get stuck!
NO SMOKING, NO FIRES
Our home is just a few miles from where two of Colorado's largest forest fires ever burned just a few years ago. We are a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park's vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Our gas grill and gas fireplace are both allowed.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Estes has a great plow team and our driveway will also be plowed during storms, but if there's a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!

BEARS
Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in!
SECURITY
Security cameras that record motion and audio for guest and home safety. 1 on SW corner of NW patio, pointing NE. One on NW corner of S patio pointing SE. One on NW corner of garage pointing W. We also have a Minut in the main downstairs hallways that records decibels, temperature and motion.
