At The Barn - Artist Mountain Retreat

This space, with its vibrant hues and unique design, was created by your Host, a local artist. There are unique touches everywhere from restored furniture to vibrant paintings on the walls. The house sits up off the road with open space behind it ready for you to hike after coffee on the terrace.
The space
This newly remodeled and artfully decorated home boasts vaulted ceilings, large windows, open floor design, large kitchen, and beautiful views of the Pike’s National Forest. The space provides an artistic feel reminiscent of an art gallery where you'll find original artwork by your Host.
It’s proximity to the highway makes it easy to get to either the 2 small mountain towns nearby within minutes or ‘down the pass’ to the larger city of Colorado Springs where more attractions are available.
Your Host, lives next door and is available to help make your experience the best possible, even offering painting classes if you’d like to get creative. The amount of stunning nature areas at your doorstep cannot even be counted and so many hot springs, ski resorts and mining towns are within an hour or two drive.
This is the perfect location to experience Colorado at it’s best and to also feel nurtured by the mountains in a peaceful spot perched above the hustle and bustle.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and grounds (except where noted otherwise). Your Host lives on the property in a loft above the detached garage.
