~ Perdido Sun 116 features Three (3) Master Suites - All three masters each offer attached full bathroom, flat screen TV with cable channels, clothes closet. 2 of the master suites feature a King-size bed, and the 3rd master suite features a Queen-size bed. And, there are 2 sofas in the living room that convert to queen size sofa sleepers! This spacious ground floor end unit easily sleeps 10 guests!

~ This amazing condo has steps that lead to the beach and pools directly from the condo and It is the only condo that has balconies as well as a large wooden deck for sunbathing or watching your children play in the pool.

Dining In? If so, you'll enjoy the fully equipped chef’s kitchen. Our guests also love the seemingly endless views of the sugar sand beach, the shimmering water of the Gulf, and the views of the pool. Enjoy morning coffee or Happy Hour from the beachfront balcony or deck.

The condo has fabulous updates throughout including: large renovated "U" shaped kitchen with snack counter, wet bar / coffee bar, large dining room with gulf views, and spacious, light filled living room with large flat screen cable TV.

The Primary Master Suite features a king bed with premium mattress, and an attached bath. The second master suite also offers a king, and an attached bathroom, and the 3rd master suite offers a queen bed, also with an attached bathroom. The living room sofas can each be converted into a queen sleeper, affording comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests. Each bedroom features a flat screen cable TV and the unit has high speed internet.

Family vacation

The unit is very spacious and easy to get to pool and beach especially with a 1 yr old. The condo needs to be updated. There were only 6 dinner forks and 2 very small forks for this unit so we got some plastic ones to use. The bathtub has lots of nicks all over. And the shower curtain for a door in the other bathroom just wasn’t great either. Both the microwave and dishwasher need replacing. The microwave sounds like an airplane taking off and dishwasher shook so hard. Thankfully we only used both a handful of times. I would definitely stay at Perdido Sun again but just in a different unit. Great weather and great time overall.

Unit needs a new A/C and some TLC

The positives: The location of this property was amazing. The access to the pool and beach make this property. The outdoor space was large. However, the pictures of this unit are outdated as this property needs some TLC. The negatives: The major issue was the A/C unit. During our visit, the unit was not working correctly. Low of 75 but stayed around 79, with fans running and portable A/C units. Visits were made by the maintenance guy after a video was sent to the management company showing the A/C leaking water and soaking one of the bedroom floors. Our family ran fans, put down bowls to catch the water, etc - as if it were our home. A partial refund was given by the management company; however, it was not what we requested. The property needs some updating: - the living room furniture was worn and dirty - the living room rug was duct taped to the floor - the front door lock looked as if its been broken a few times - the living room ceiling fan only goes one speed - the outdoor patio flooring was lifting up and separating in spots - the toilet in the hall bathroom was not secure - a few of the kitchen cabinets need some work The floors need a deep clean. We had to wear shoes after seeing how dirty the bottom of our feet were after walking barefoot the first evening. This property has the potential to be 5 out of 5 stars. The only reasons we did not leave our vacation early was because of the view and access to the pool and beach.

The Perdido Sun is still so fun!

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary by returning to our honeymoon spot at the Perdido Sun Resort! This time we brought the whole family, 6 adults and 1 year old granddaughter. This ground floor unit was THE BEST for our family and especially with the baby. We simply walked right out our living area to our deck and down to the outdoor or indoor pool and beach! No need to go through the lobby or take any elevators. The Sun still got it! The staff was very kind and helpful and everything was tidy and clean. It is an older property but still had everything we needed. There was mention of gnats and we did notice some in the kitchen but not enough to spoil our experience. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit is ideal for everyone to have their own space. The living room, dining room and kitchen area was very spacious for us to gather together! Even the deck had enough room for us to all hang out together while taking in the view and breeze of the Gulf of Mexico! We were pleasantly surprised to see some shops across the way so we could walk to the Jellyfish bar and restaurant as well as a coffee and iced cream shop and souvenir shop. We were so grateful to enjoy the Perdido Sun Resort again and would highly recommend this unit to others!

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for 3 couples and 4 teens/preteens. We could watch the kids swim from the balcony and didn’t have to deal with the elevator. You can walk right off the balcony to the pool and beach. There was plenty of space inside and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The end unit was a plus as the hallway was quiet and we couldn’t hear the people in the floor above us either. We did have a gnat issue from the moment we arrived. Not sure if this is related to the individual unit or bc it is close to the trash chute, but we fought them the entire stay. The only real negative is the AC. It would not cool past 70. We decided it may be a “dummy” thermostat bc every night it would cool to 70 and warm to 73-74 during the day no matter what we set the thermostat to. There was a portable AC unit in the living room so this must be an ongoing issue. It would help circulate the air, but wouldn’t really cool it and it was very loud. If the air could be turned down at night it would’ve been a perfect place to stay!

Nice Location

Having direct access to the pool and beach, without having to go through the building to get back to your condo was very nice. Especially with young kids. Had a few small issues, but they were taken care of very quickly when I contacted management. Lots of space for everyone.
