It was a nice place. We were looking for a small place that was out of the way, BUT…
First, the thought that this property was secluded were incorrect. This cabin was located in the back yard of another property that had renters as well so we had some observers looking in on us that we didn’t care for. (Not to mention our neighbors stayed up ALL NIGHT LONG and are evidently are in tryouts for a drum band)
Second, one set of towels had to last us all week end. Yes there was a washing machine, but really?
Third, the air conditioning couldn’t keep up. Yes it’s July but the cabin stayed about 78 degrees all the time and that made for some long sweaty nights.
Fourth, there was WiFi, but evidently the router was located outside the cabin because we only had one, maybe two bars, the whole time and couldn’t do much of anything on our phone, and one of the TVs in the cabin was a Roku style that we couldn’t watch because it couldn’t connect to the internet. And the fact that there was no cell phone service could be looked at as a blessing or a curse since there was no land line should an emergency happen.
Like I said it was a cute place, I enjoyed the stay and the feel of the inside, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again or recommend this to any of my friends looking to vacation in the area.
