Florida Family Vacation

The House was very Large and comfortable . Pool was great and was heated to a good temperature. Lots of dishes and pots and pans .. Coffee maker was very small a 4 cup for 8 Adults . Only 1 towel per person .The house and bathrooms were clean but carpets were disgustingly stained snd looked very dirty . No dishtowels but Dollar store very close ..Disney 30 minutes with traffic .Close to Publix grocery store and Resturants ..Windsor Resort pools , lazy river and kids water slides were fabulous . Kids loved it and free mini golf , and games room and gym free . Bonus !! Would recommend .

The property appeared beautiful on the listing. Check in was smooth. It is very spacious. We had 2 adults and 7 children with plenty of room. The white cheap towels and sheets were dirty upon arrival but I never complained and just washed them and I was asked to pay for towels and sheets after the so called “inspection” bc they were “stained” which already was an issue from the looks of previous reviews. The entire upstairs carpet is dingy and needs to be cleaned. The stair railing is wobbly and unsafe for toddlers. The light sabors, pool table, air hockey was wobbly. The trash can was completely full when we arrived so we couldn’t fit in our own trash and was having to wait on trash pickup before we could utilize the large trash can. The ice maker was broke on the fridge. The sliding back door was very difficult to shut all of the way bc the little piece was cracked that it latches onto. My 5 year old is terrified of spiders and noticed a few spiders in the house and the garage. There was a few pool towels above the washer that were nice quality and cute. The actual resort pool and amenities was the best thing about the stay. The owner was prompt to respond. I do feel like I was scammed to pay for towels and sheets tho, bc I mean who can’t oxyclean/bleach and thoroughly wash some white towels and sheets? I’m sure it was from the kids using them after the pool and throwing them on (questionably) mopped floors to keep from slipping after swimming.

I want to rate the house itself higher for what it has to offer w/ incredible space for everyone, but their cleaning company has not done it justice. I'm not sure if the people before us really trashed the house and there just wasn't enough time for them to get it all, or if it's always that way. Garbage outside was never picked up and overflowing since we arrived, also found multiple blinds in it missing from the sliding door to pool. Gum was in 3 spots on pool deck, water was way lower than other surrounding pools. Screen enclosure was torn from a lounge chair still poking through the bottom and hanging into deep end of pool. I removed a piece of gum from upstairs carpet by pool table, but carpets were dirty in general. Sadly the air hockey and pool tables were wobbly, multiple decorative light sabers were broken or missing from what pictures show was there. Bed linens, mattress covers, and towels in several rooms didn't seem washed- hair, possibly food marks/stains, as well as something gross splashed across a BR TV screen. The Harry Potter room door looked like someone punched a hole in it. Some dishes and silverware were put away with debris or still wet, and detergent was not provided. I should also note that the center of mattress on main bed in Frozen room is sunken in, so my girls were disappointed that it was too uncomfortable to sleep there. Overall, once we got past the above setbacks we enjoyed being there, and it worked nicely for our family of 9.
