Great amenities!

Windsor Island is a great place to stay. Our family enjoyed all the amenities...water park, lazy river, putt putt course. This house is nice, and the manager's communication is excellent. Upon arrival, we found pots and pans extremely dirty, even some with food left on them. The carpeting needs to be cleaned, along with the upholstered furniture. The host did offer to have someone come clean the kitchen chairs during our stay, but we really didn't want extensive cleaning going on while trying to enjoy our vacation. I'm confident that the owner heard our concerns and will have a deep clean of this home done to get it back to the pristine place the pictures show. The only other thing I would have liked to have known before renting is that the picture shows open land behind the pool. That is no longer the case, as they have built (and construction is still going on as of Mar 2024) many townhome units behind this house. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice if the pictures accurately showed this so you didn't think you'd be arriving to a lovely private view behind your pool. Overall, I do recommend this home for a family vacation, with just a good cleaning and knowing ahead of time there are homes all behind you. You will enjoy the stay!

Windsor Island College Spring training

The home is fantastic and very accommodating especially if you have a larger group. Each bedroom has a bathroom and there is an open floor plan and the house is equipped with everything you would need to get your vacation going. Game room in the garage too! The clubhouse pool (with restaurant) is fantastic with zero depth pool and lazy river, along with a good restaurant and outside bar. It's easily walkable from the house. As far as location, I put 4 stars, but obviously depends on what you plan on doing...There are grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops less than a 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk away. (No need for a car if you don't want to drive and walk a little.) The only thing I would mention to be aware of (as of March '24) is that there is construction taking place in the subdivision. It didn't impact the quality of the stay, but just something to be aware of regarding the construction traffic. All in all, it's a great modern home that is very clean that will be a great headquarters for your stay. The owners a very professional, responsive, and accommodating. One tip: get a gate pass for your car when you check in (located at the clubhouse) so you don't have to check in with security each time you enter and leave the community.

Family Vacation

We just got back from staying here. There was lots of room for our group of 10. Any questions or issues, Emily was very quick to respond. The resort pool area was great bonus and never crowded, the bar food was good as well. The only thing was the kitchen is minimally stocked and there were no face clothes, hand towels or dishcloths provided.

Close to attractions, far enough to avoid big crowds

We love the spacious and comfortable accommodations, especially having a bedroom for each kid. Easy to maintain cleanliness in the house. Be sure to bring own toiletries, laundry, kitchen cleaning supplies during an extended stay. The resort layout is ideal; clubhouse and pool are within walking distance. Impressed with resort bar and restaurant service. Home is in less-traveled part of subdivision with less traffic. Hosts were responsive to service request. New subdivision construction behind home plus new homes within WIndsor provided some extra daytime noise. Plenty of nearby conveniences (grocery, eateries, gas). Reasonable driving range to major attractions.

Beautiful property

This was a beautiful property with an incredible resort to boot. We spent all week just enjoying the amenities with no boredom for a 5 and 7 year old!
