Une exquise, mise à jour chalet de montagne avec une vue de miles! Admirez les vues sur les pistes de ski de Bear Mountain ainsi que sur le lac Big Bear au loin. La cabine à haute altitude offre vallée magnifique, la forêt et vue sur la montagne ainsi. Notre élévation de pointe et le visage du Nord-Ouest signifie plus de chutes de neige naturelle qui reste plus longtemps.

Cette cabine est bien équipé avec 3 chambres, 3 salles de bains, un concept espace de vie ouvert et une salle de jeux. Amusez-vous jouer à l'intérieur avec des tables de billard, air hockey, baby-foot, Wii, Playstation et beaucoup plus! Profitez des magnifiques planchers de bois franc dans la / cuisine / salle à manger / grand espace de salon!

Grillez vos orteils devant le foyer au bois avec FREE FIREWOOD prévu pour votre séjour. Profitez des programmes Wi-Fi et HDTV gratuits ainsi que de ROKU.

Marche pour Bear Mountain ou même du ski après une neige du matin. Passez environ 15 maisons de descendre vers le haut de la pente de lapin. Il est grand traîneau dans la cour arrière lorsque les permis de neige et la cabine se trouve sur un culdesac calme pour beaucoup d'intimité.

We spent a fantastic long...

We spent a fantastic long weekend at the Rockspray Chalet! With sledding on the property, a short walk to Bear Mountain, very comfortable sleeping and living arrangements, and friendly and responsive owners who care about their home and your stay, you can't ask for more. The location and amenities can't be beat and I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

excellent experience!

We recently stayed at this home and it was beautiful!! We traveled with another family (each family has 2 children)...absolute perfect place! The house is quiet, clean, and has everything you need! Communication with the owner was so easy and she was always available. For sure this is where we will stay next time we escape to the mountains!

Rockspray Chalet Getaway

Great property for a family winter getaway. The house has a sledding area in the backyard for snow sledding and playing in the snow. The home is set up perfectly for family fun! The beds were comfy, the open great room has amazing views of the mountains and the kitchen is well appointed. The property is near Bear Mountain for those visitors that ski or snowboard- about a 10 minute walk for adults. We truly enjoyed our stay.

A Wonderful Holiday Retreat!

Our family was looking for a relaxing getaway after the Christmas holiday. This comfortable Chalet was the perfect place for us to unwind in a beautiful setting. The furnishings, amenities and overall condition of the home were excellent. And the view from the back was a definite highlight. Jenny was great to work with and did an excellent job in communicating everything we needed to know. If your looking for a family friendly getaway, this is a great choice.

Perfect for our first trip to Big Bear

The Rockspray Chalet was a perfect home for our first trip to Big Bear. We had two families both with 2 elementary school kids (8 people total) and the house was perfect for us. The kitchen/living room/dining area is open and airy with a beautiful view of trees--you can see the mountain and the lake from the patio. There is a great fireplace with plenty of fire wood too. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances/kitchen utensils--we prepared almost all of our meals there. All of the kids slept downstairs together in the bedroom (it has 1 queen and 1 twin bunk bed and is big enough for 4 kids). The downstairs also has a separate game room and a nice bathroom/washing machine/drier area. The game room was a major hit. There is a pool/air hockey table, TV, Wii with controllers/games, electronic piano and comfy couch that the kids LOVED! The parents slept upstairs--the master is nice with an attached bathroom. The other room has twin beds that you can push together and another separate bathroom. The upstairs/downstairs was good with kids as kids could play without bugging parents and parents could stay up later than kids without keeping them awake. The location near Bear Mountain is so convenient-our kids were a bit young to walk there so we drove, but adults could walk. There was just enough snow in the back yard for some snow play too. We would stay there again.

Great weekend in the snow!

What an excellent choice we made to stay at Rockspray Chalet. Jenny is terrific in communicating directions and all aspects of the trip. Her place is perfect for a family with kids and we had as much fun playing in the backyard as we did sledding or at Magic Mountain. Inside the house is everything you could want in a cozy home away from home. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great place in Big Bear to stay. Thanks again!

Winter bliss

We loved our stay at the Rockspray Chalet. The house is perfectly located less than 10 minute walk to the slopes of Big Bear and yet tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac. The house was comfortable with a relaxed mountain vibe. The kitchen was well stocked and equiped with everything we needed to cook our meals. We found the backyard perfect for sledding. The kids loved the playroom downstairs. The beds are comfortable and the master has a beautiful view. Jenny was extremely prompt in all email interactions. She provided detailed information on all the amenities. She even accomodated us with an early checkin and late check-out. Overall this is a well-loved house that is also well cared for and kept super clean. We hope to stay again soon and have recommended the house to our friends in San Diego.

Amazing home in tranquil setting

We just loved our stay at this house. The setting was perfect, nestled amongst the pines, it has such a secluded feel, yet is still close to stores and amenities. The view of lush forest is beautiful. The house is really cosy, and although we were there in summer, the fireplace looked so inviting! The beds were super comfortable and the view from the master bedroom is amazing! The house is also suitable for children, as we have two under age 2. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great family cabin

We really enjoyed this well kept, clean and comfortable home with all the amenities. Well, the hairdryer broke but they even emailed about that so we weren't surprised. No detail is overlooked. Wood for the fireplace was especially appreciated. The game room and downstairs BR was perfect for the kids. The large dining room table and extra counter seating was also a plus. We hiked in the nearby mountain trails too; great location. It all made for a very relaxing and fun getaway. Definitely recommend for larger or multiple families but also great for a group of adults. Thanks!

Spent a Few Days at Rockspray Chalet

Took a long weekend to relax in Big Bear and stayed at Rockspray Chalet and I have to say that I did NOT want to leave. What a great place! The house was very clean and inviting. There's an excellent fireplace in the living room and it added to both the charm and warmth of the chalet. Everything stated in the VRBO listing is accurate or understated. Rockspray is a short walk to the ski lifts. We had snow the night I arrived and they were also making snow, but it was not quite enough to ski. As such, I will be returning in a couple of months to hit the slopes! Beautiful views, spacious home, clean and comfortable. A+ in my book.

Highly recommended peaceful getaway

The views of the mountains, lake and valley were so beautiful we hardly left the deck the entire weekend. A true vacation in a peaceful and quiet mountain setting. Can't wait to go back - thank you Jenny!

Great Escape

We loved our visit, would definitely come back. The property is on a quiet cul-de-sac, with amazing views and privacy- yet the slopes are a quick 5 minutes away. The photos accurately depict the property, which was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed a wood burning fireplace (the wood was provided both inside and on deck) and our teenage son and friend loved the downstairs "escape" from parents with their own gameroom, bedroom, bath. A summertime visit would allow dining outside on the large view deck. The owners were very responsive and suggested hiking locations, etc.

Perfect Summer Vacation!

Jenny, we loved staying at your chalet! It was better than expected. Beautiful interior; beautiful view of Big Bear Lake and Bear Mtn slopes from the deck. Our teenagers enjoyed the game room. The convenience of location was outstanding.

Home away from home

This was our second straight year staying at the Rockspray Chalet during the ski season. The home is perfect for two families with children. The kids are either skiing on the slopes or playing in the downstairs game room. The home is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The homeowner has been GREAT to work with and responds quickly to inquiries. We can't wait for our next weekend getaway to this beautiful home.

We will return again and again

We have stayed at Rockspray Chalet in both the winter and the summer. We love this cabin and its location is perfect! We went during a big snow storm last year and enjoyed the amazing sledding hill on the side of the house. The cabin is close enough to the ski slopes that during the big storm we saw skiers skiing to the slopes on the roads that hadn't been plowed yet. It was quite a sight! The wood burning fireplace puts out a lot of heat and we enjoyed playing board games in front of the fire. During the summer we returned to enjoy some local hiking trails and found a Christmas tree in the forest that was nicely decorated. There is plenty of room for one big family or multiple families. This cabin has everything you could possibly want and we have already booked our winter trip.

This is a beautiful home ...

This is a beautiful home with a beautiful view of Bear Mountain and the Lake and has plenty of room for 2 small families! We enjoyed the nice downstairs game room with pool table and large screen TV, WE and X Box. It is perfect for older teens, as well as younger children. This home is warmly decorated and we enjoyed just hanging out and cooking meals in the kitchen, as well as enjoying the living and dining area. There is a wonderful area behind the home for sledding, and the house is in a quite area, near the forest and ski slope while still being a short few minute drive to markets and restaurants. The owners are wonderful, quick to reply and very lovely to deal with. We look forward to a return visit.
