Clifford chambers itself offers an idlyic hamlet setting with a classic county inn offering good food, beautifull riverside and county walks and historic buldings such as St Helens Church.
Just a short drive away (5mins)is the historic town of Stratford upon avon where you can soak up the local hertiage by exploring Shakespeares old homes, relaxing on a boat or green space by the river avon, spending the night at the Theatre (the Royal Shakespeare Company) or enjoy out of the towns many equist eaterys or bars. Theres also plenty of family activties to keep children entertained:- stratford rec hosts a huge paly ground, the butterfly farm , the towns every one viewing wheel and many family attractions such as the impression Warwick Castle which offers a fabulous day out for both couples and families.
The pretty and traditional cotswold villages are also nearby. Only a 5 minute drive away you will find the village of Mickleton - The Kings Arms offers the most fabulous bbq garden during the summer and cosy log fires during the winter. And there are many naztional trust properties close by . The nearest being Hidcote Manor which is only 8 mins from Poppy Cottage. The Cotswolds is in abundance of beautifull walking routes, traditional market towns , historic sites and great days out.
Once you have finished exploring all the local area has to offer to can settle down in comfort at Poppy Cottage, with traditional oak beams exposed and a clean and cosy interior poppy cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind during your stay. Right next door is a private dog walking meadow which runs along the river avon where our guests can book if you are looking for some quite alone time with your four legged friend.
