Town: A small, traditional Cumbrian community nestled in stunning scenery, perfectly situated for exploring Southern Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales, and the tranquil Forest of Bowland. It's 7 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale, a wonderful old market town, and 12 miles from Kendal, the Lake District's gateway. Leighton Moss, an RSPB wildfowl reserve, is only 4 miles away, and Morecambe Bay is well-known for birdwatching.
