Located in the picturesque town of Brixham, Brook Barn is the perfect base for those wanting to experience all the sights and sounds this coastal fishing port has to offer.

Set away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre you will find it a peaceful environment in which to relax. Brixham town is easily reached by foot with a 15 minute walk, where you can visit the Marina area and all the sights and attractions the town has to offer. Just a few minutes away from Brook Barn is St Marys Square, where you will find several amenities including a shop which stocks delicious fresh pastries, a local pub and a selection of takeaways. The nearby popular beaches of St Mary's Bay and Mansands are not to be missed on your visit and benefit from being dog friendly throughout the year (perfect if you are bring your pooch with you!)

Inside the barn is everything you need for the perfect family get together or retreat with friends, including a dining area and cosy log burner in the lounge - perfect after a long day exploring the SW Coast Path.

The barn also benefits from a unique and tranquil outside space. A babbling brook, complete with waterfall, runs through the garden adding to the serene ambience of the property. With various seating areas for guests to enjoy this really is the perfect place to relax in the evening sun. Enjoying a well deserved soak in the under cover hot tub is obviously a must after a long day taking in the sights of Torbay. The first floor private terrace/balcony also provides a lovely view into the charming outside space.

- A £100 refundable security deposit will be payable before arrival and refunded within 7 days of departure.

- Brook Barn benefits from on site parking and free on road parking.
- The decking and stairs leading off bedroom 2 can be slippery when wet so care should be taken.
- Care should be taken around the brook area (as with all bodies of water)
- Dogs are welcome at Brook Barn. £35 pet fee applies per pet.
- No additional cleaning fee charged.
- This property includes a small welcome/starter pack to help you on your first day of arrival. This consists of 2 toilet rolls, washing up liquid, 2 dishwasher tablets, a washing up cloth, sponge & tea towel and tea, coffee & milk sachets. Cupboard staples and any other extras are not as standard therefore we recommend ensuring you have your own supplies of anything else required.

Neighbourhood description
Brixham has long been famed for its links to the sea, and now has an up and coming culinary scene to add to its armoury, with an increasing number of independent cafés and delightful restaurants offering ingredients landed just a stones’ throw from their doorstep. For walkers, The South West Coast Path will take you as far as your legs will carry you, and entertaining the little ones couldn’t be easier with Paignton Zoo, The Dartmouth Steam Railway and Splashdown @ Quay West all within a short drive.

Getting around
Why not take one of the passenger ferries across to Torquay or around Berry Head and over to Dartmouth? The bus station located in central Brixham has a regular bus service which runs via Paignton to Torquay. You can pick up the South West Coast path in either direction and enjoy miles of stunning coastal walking routes.
