Llangefni is 7 kilometres from the magnificent beaches of Benllech and Red Wharf Bay, with miles of sandy coastline. The adjacent beaches are great for families, with safe, shallow seas. On the island are Beaumaris, the Sea Zoo, Pili Butterfly Palace and Plas Newydd, while on the mainland are Penrhyn Castle, Bodnant Gardens and the breathtaking backdrop of Eryri (Snowdonia).
