The enchanting Gardener's Cottage provides a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom property set in the magnificent grounds of Netherby Hall. The perfect feature to top off this beautiful apartment has to be the view of the Walled Garden where all the produce is grown to supply the Pentonbridge Inn kitchens. The open plan living of the cottage provides a space for you to relax, with exposed beams bringing in the country feel, a fully equipped kitchen, wood burning stove and a sitting room with views to die for! The bedrooms are on different floors and both come with a 4’6 double bed. The cottage has two bedrooms, one situated on the ground floor and the other bedroom on the top floor. Downstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped and the sitting room boasts original oak beams and a wood burning stove.
The grounds offer the extra convenience of private parking but if you fancy a meal out there is always the opportunity to hop on the complimentary shuttle service to the nearby Pentonbridge Inn. CCTV covers the grounds of Netherby Hall for security reasons.
The history of Netherby Hall dates back to Roman times, and parts of the grand house may even have been built using stones from a Roman fort. Beautifully decorated, the apartments and cottages are all thoroughly modern, with plenty of touches of 21st century luxury.
The Coach House sits within 36 acres of parkland, where you can stroll across manicured lawns, enjoy a Victorian pleasure garden and walk through a walled garden that stretches for over an acre. The estate is nestled in north Cumbria, with spectacular views over the undulating landscape to the Scottish hills beyond.
We are happy to accept dogs at a minimal charge, we just need to be notified in advance of arrival.
