Quiet Sanctuary

I booked this work stay as something different from the usual hotel and wasn't totally sure how different it would be. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I appreciated the quietness. No noisy neighbours, loud AC unit, talking in the halls, no cleaning lady knocking on your door. It was incredibly peaceful & comfortable. It felt like a vacation even though I was still working. The host was incredibly sweet & provided a book of recommendations, but I never ran into her or felt like she was in my space. I highly recommend this stay!

As lovely as expected!

We stayed here for 3 days and had a great time! The property is exactly as pictured - charming, a good size for 2 adults and enough room for 3 suitcases while still being able to move around. The shower is large with good water pressure and the wifi was strong. We were grateful for the extra towels and shampoo provided as we spent a fair amount of time at the beach! The location is close to Paynter’s Fruit Market, which is a great place to grab a coffee and fruit in the morning before heading out to all the many wineries in West Kelowna. It’s also only a 25 minute drive to downtown Kelowna. Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway and the best hosts!

Lyndsay & Andrew were perfect hosts and their property is stunning. I felt so at home and they've thought of everything and had wonderful personal touches to the space that had me feeling so welcomed. The bed is super comfy and the rain head shower amazing, it was so nice to have a luxurious feeling shower and cozy bed to fall into after a day of wine tastings and sight seeing. It's super easy to hop onto the highway from their place to get to Summerland/Penticton fast and had amenities like grocery and restaurants nearby. When you're on their property you feel super secluded as the view from the front door is a peach grove, and down their driveway is Off The Grid Winery which also serves pizza (!!!) — so it was the best of both worlds: feeling like I had escaped to the secluded countryside for peace and quiet while also having everything I would need for my stay within a 5-8 minute drive. I will definitely be back! Thank you again to my amazing hosts!

Raised in Alberta, I spent most of my summers vacationing in the Okanagan Valley which quickly became to feel like my second home. There is nowhere else in Canada quite like the Okanagan, from the picturesque vineyard and orchard covered hills to the crystal blue lake waters, it is true bliss and my ultimate "someday" goal.

In the early Autumn of 2020 I took Andrew to Kelowna for our very first vacation together and he instantly fell in love with the beautiful landscape and charming lifestyle just like I did all those years ago. Knowing it was my dream to live there one day he said "why not now?" and the rest as they say is history.

We are now living our dream, slowly renovating our forever home nestled between a peach orchard and several vineyards, and sharing it with amazing couples like you who love the Okanagan Valley as much as we do!

The fast pace of our everyday life seems to spur the average person today. With a belief in society that the busier you are the better chances you have at being successful-
the pace can be overwhelming. Working hard at your job, your dreams and your goals is a good thing, of course. It brings fulfilment, purpose and happiness and brings dreams to fruition. It gets tricky though, when trying to keep up with the hustle culture of today without making room for adequate rest. That frenzied stop until you drop pace is leaving many people in a constant state of stress.

Slow living is a French lifestyle designed to help us live life at a slower pace with a deeper purpose. A lifestyle focused on living in the moment that ultimately aims to help us create a more meaningful routine that we will thrive in.

A slower way of life may sound so simple and, well... slow, at first, but it can actually bring much more to our lives. It encourages us to start putting in effort to seize and embrace the moment, enjoy some quiet and reflective time and to prioritize ourselves and be more present each day.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The villa was designed in a French country style for a romantic and luxurious escape for two. Your experience starts the moment you check in when you're welcomed with a curated basket of local delectables.

We are located beside Off the Grid winery and are walking or biking distance from Ciao Bella Winery and Kalala Winery. Paynter's Fruit Market is just down the road. We offer unique cruiser bike rentals if you would like to visit any of theses wonderful places. They are equipped with baskets to carry any goodies you pick up on your adventures.
