An overpriced average property with lack of clarity on who is responsible for resolving issues
This property was "okay". Not what we expected for the price and from the written description. Be aware that, as you read the property description and amenities, that there is no pool on-site, no heated pool - that you do have access to the Ritz Carlton (a couple of miles away) and that you do have to pay $35 per day per person for that benefit. We had numerous issues with our unit (one toilet was broken/continued to run all the time); stove top didn't work well (you had to let the igniter run for several minutes while waiting for the gas to "catch" - not too comforting & there is no ability to light it manually.) We had other issues as well and called / talked to different off-site management several times (we went back and forth between a couple companies because we weren't sure who we were supposed to address). Everyone was nice and well-trained to say the right things & a few issues were addressed. But the standard was "I'm really sorry about that, let me see who I can contact to help you". After the first couple of days, my wife and I adjusted to the attitude that we simply overpaid and didn't ask questions - just took the listing at face value and that is shame on us. We will dig deeper next go around. For an appropriate price, this is a nice property, just not what we were looking for when we searched for top tier properties for our vacation. We got top tier pricing & average accommodations with issues that need to be resolved in the unit.
