Explore our beautiful neighborhood with stunning views and access to a gorgeous and very private beach.

The Space:
Welcome to Cherry Lane Suite - Studio ground w/ garden! This 550 Sq Ft studio room is very clean and spacious enough for a small group of travelers. It's ideal for couples or a family with two kids. Whether you're traveling alone or with a partner, this room offers simplicity and comfort. The apartment is centrally located, with easy access to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and other amenities. We prioritize cleanliness and provide a sanitized environment for your safety and enjoyment.

A living room with a pleasant sofa set, and a television, is good for indoor relaxation, drinking coffee, reading books, or watching movies. We have exercise equipment for indoor workouts.

Small kitchen great for meal preparations is equipped with refrigerator, induction stove, electric kettle, multifunction oven, microwave for heating food, cooking wares and dining wares. ( Note that our facilities do not include a dishwasher )

The studio suites shares a stunning backyard garden and and outdoor furniture with us, offering a fantastic area for unwinding outdoors.
The Cherry Lane Suite is carefully kept to provide the best comfort and cleanliness. Kindly be aware that the residence does not allow pets or parties.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire space and will not be going to share this with any other guests.
Access to the suite's Instructions will be provided once the booking is confirmed.

The Neighborhood:
The North Nanaimo neighborhood, where Dover Road is situated, is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and its nearness to the sea. The region is primarily residential, with a mix of single-family houses and townhomes. It's also dotted with many parks and green areas like Linley Valley Park and Piper's Lagoon Park, offering hiking paths, beaches, and scenic vistas.

North Nanaimo is also home to a variety of facilities, such as shopping malls, eateries, and sports centers. The Woodgrove Centre, Vancouver Island's biggest shopping mall, is conveniently located in the area, offering a broad range of shops and services. The neighborhood also features several golf courses, sports centers, and community hubs, ensuring plenty of options for sports and leisure pursuits.

In terms of amenities, there are several parks, grocery stores, restaurants, and shops located nearby on the Island Highway, which is the main commercial artery through the neighborhood. The neighborhood is also conveniently located near the Nanaimo Parkway, which provides easy access to other parts of the city and Vancouver Island.

Getting Around:
The area around Dover Road is conveniently located close to Blueback Beach Access, Invermere Beach, and Sunset Beach, providing a variety of coastal activities like strolling, swimming, surfing, and watching the sunset, to name a few. Diver Lake, a residential area in the heart of Nanaimo known for its peaceful roads and family-oriented environment, is just a 15-minute drive away.

Known places to visits:

Maffeo Sutton Park is Nanaimo's signature park overlooking our world famous harbour. The park is a central point along the Harbour Front Walkway. The park hosts countless community special events. It is a great year round destination for walking, playground playdates and picnics.

Features and amenities include access to the walking trail, Maffeo Sutton Inclusive Playground, Sway-a-Lana lagoon and swimming beach (no lifeguards), Lions Pavillion covered stage, Spirit Square, ferry access to Saysutshun (Newcastle) Island ferry and washrooms.

There are a number of public art pieces located throughout the park and along the walking trail.

The name remembers two individuals: Pete Maffeo and Joe Sutton. Pete Maffeo was a popular mayor and ice cream shop owner who was admired for community service and sport involvement. Joe Sutton was the caretaker of Deverill Square Park for many years.

Here are some local parks where you can partake in outdoor fun such as picnicking and cycling, or simply enjoy a relaxing stroll.:

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED: Please be advised that pets are not permitted during your stay. However, if your reservation includes a service dog, kindly notify the property management in advance. This will enable us to provide you with information regarding the house rules and ensure that we can assist you more effectively prior to your check-in.

1. A set of house rules is STRICTLY implemented throughout every stay and must comply:
- No smoking in any form ( electric cigarette, weeds, tobacco )
- No illegal drugs
- No party or gathering of any sort
- No loud noises at all times
- No pets allowed
- Please no 'loud' gatherings. Quiet hours: 9 pm to 9 am
- Only registered number of guests will be allowed to stay, extra person fees apply for additional guests
- 1 set of towels will be given per registered guest.
- The gate should be locked/closed at all times. The property owner has a cat.

2. Cooking essentials provided : Salt & Pepper; Cooking oil; cookware for your convenience.

1. Early Check-In:

Available from 12:00 PM onwards, a 50 CAD Early check-in fee will apply.
Please feel free to reach out to us to confirm the availability.

2. Late Check-Out:


Please send us a request in advance. Approval will be subject to availability. A fee
of 50 CAD will be applicable for late check-out. (Until 3 pm).

3. Luggage Drop-Off Service:


We offer an early drop-off luggage service after 12:00 PM

The suite WILL NOT be ready until the official check-in time.
25 CAD will be charged for availing of this service.

We, kindly ask that you only drop off your luggage in the Foyer area.
Do not leave any food in the fridge, until it's check-in time.

Note: registration of a valid credit card is required to avail of all these services. Your request will be confirmed once we have successfully charged the applicable extra service fees.
