Make the most out of your holiday and soak up the history of Budapest! The apartment is located in a really unique location and historical building build by Ybl Miklós one of the most famous Hungarian architect. The building was build for Dr. Bálint Balassa who was a well-known doctor, so the building was constructed with stairs for his maids and other staff.
Location:
The apartment is located in the heart of the city right in front of the famous St. Stephen’s Basilica, which is one of the most emblematic building in Hungary. Literally, there is no better place to stay if you are visiting Budapest for short or long-term. You will find everything in 5 min walking distance, such as bars, restaurants, shops, pharmacies, sightseeing bus stop and ticket office (located in the building), etc. Public transport is well developed and fast in the center of Budapest, so it is probably the best form of transport. All major public transport stops are within 5 min walking distance, for example all metro lines (M1; M2; M3); Bus (105; 15; 7; 9); Tram (47, 2); etc.
Building:
In the middle of the building you will find a beautiful inside garden, what won the award for the most beautiful interior garden in the whole sixth district in 2015. All the building and it belongings kept well maintained. Furthermore, a new elevator has been installed in early 2023, which makes it even more safer and less noisy. The apartment is located on the third floor and fully accessible due to the elevator and the ramp in front of the elevator.
Apartment:
The Apartment is 47 m2 + the gallery 10 m2 and has a full size bathroom with shower, an American style living room with kitchen and dining area, a bedroom with a single bed (90x200) and another bedroom in the gallery with a double bed (160x200). Furthermore, a small table and two chairs has been placed in front of the flat where guest can enjoy the beautiful view of Basilica during their morning coffee or a glass of wine.
Equipment:
The apartment is fully equipped for the comfort of our guest. I will be able to provide everything need to take care of a child, but please let me know in prior to your arrival. Please find the list of equipment below:
