We stayed at Azul Paraiso since we were considering purchasing a unit in the new buildings. We loved the ambiance here, and while the access is a bit longer than we thought, it became a very easy drive once we knew the road. The unit was great- nicely appointed, quality furniture. the kitchen and the bathrooms were fine, there was even an outdoor shower in the master bathroom. The terrace was wonderful and we spent half our time sitting out there watching the birds, and the howler monkeys on the wires and trees across the road. The access to the pool on the lower level was a plus as well. The management people were incredible- every time we had an issue (ants in the kitchen on the first day) they showed up the next morning with spray, and sprayed outside as well. Access to the local beaches and restaurants was also a plus, and while we drove into Liberia, and also spent some time up country near Arenal during our week, we spent a good part of every day at the beaches. We would definitely stay here again.
