Great location, peaceful part of town
The location was wonderful! Getting to the beach was easy and quick. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and getting to the unit was not complicated. Checking in was simple - the management company was on top of it with sending automated text messages the day of arrival with what we needed to get into the unit. Easy two block walk to the Fenwick “boardwalk” for some family fun. The unit is stocked with utensils, pans, serving trays, all the dish ware, etc you’ll need. That was nice for making meals on the nights we didn’t go out. From there I was pretty disappointed. At first glance, the unit seemed pretty clean but as the first night went on we found food not previously cleaned up in one of the beds and on the sofa pull out. The garbage disposal was pretty gross, with something not cleaned out from a prior stay I guess. The unit is listed with AC, which is true, but it’s two small wall units that were constantly going warm. And when we did try to use them to cool things off, they were so loud. That made trying to sit on the balcony and enjoy the partial view of the ocean nearly worthless. The shower had little to no water pressure. For a short stay (5 days, 4 nights) we made it all work. It’s difficult when something isn’t working in these rentals, bring that it’s not like there is another ‘room’ like a hotel to switch to. We’ll definitely give the management company another look next year, but other units.
