Private Two Queen Bedrooms - Chic Basement Apartment

Spend some time in our newly renovated basement apartment! We are located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes outside of Cherry Creek. DU (Denver University) is 5 minutes west, DIA is 30 minutes east, and downtown Denver is just 15 minutes north. We are just a few blocks off of I-25 and easily accessible to the light rail. You can walk to a few great eateries and coffee shops nearby, or enjoy some in the spacious kitchen area here. Enjoy a private entrance and accessible street parking.

Welcome to our chic navy basement. We just recently completed some renovations and are excited to offer all new amenities! The house was originally built in the 50s and so you will hear the original floors creak as we live upstairs with our sweet pups, we try to keep the sound down so you can enjoy a nice stay. Due to the dogs we are not offering access to the front or back yard. The basement rental offers a nice change of cooler Colorado air and is healthily stocked with blankets galore. It does generally stays a few degrees cooler than the rest of the house but we try to maintain it well so you are comfortable throughout your stay.

You can have your pick between two queen beds, one is a plush mattress while the other is a firm. There is a great comfy couch just inviting you to cuddle up and watch some tv. You can easily log onto any of your favorite streaming shows to pick up where you left off.

The kitchen offers a great large fridge with a freezer. A full dishwasher, sink (with disposal), microwave, and Keurig machine with starter tea, hot chocolate and most importantly coffee are there for you as well. We have basic utensils and dishware so you can warm up some meals. Please note that toiletries and Keurig provided may not last your entire stay. The full washer and dryer are there for you to use also. There is also an iron and ironing board tucked into one of the bedroom closets if you find that you need it.

We are doing our absolute best during COVID to keep everything safe between us and you. We are neat freaks ourselves and are striding to surpass Airbnb’s safety protocols.

disappointing to say the least.

Recently my daughter and I spent a couple of days in Denver on a college visit. Soon after we checked in I noticed that the plastic toilet seat in the unit had a crack right through one side of it. My daughter and I were actually giggling about the weight limit of toilet seats and I even told her in seriousness to her careful if she sat bc it could pinch skin. My daughter and I are both on the small side and would not / could not have broken it. We were two people who basically only spent time in the unit late in the evening after campus tours and visiting my niece in Boulder. We certainly didn’t have any sort of crazy party or anything and did not break that toilet seat. When the owner messaged me about it and said I would be charged I immediately replied and got no response. I followed up the next day and still no response. Given that I thought possibly she realized she made a mistake and was able to confirm that we didn’t break it so didn’t charge us. However, I got our credit card bill today, and sure enough, she charged us. I have tried repeatedly to connect with her and it seems as if she has decided to ghost us. I literally never leave negative reviews for anything and I know its really only $50, but this really has me frustrated and leery of using another VRBO since it seems that one can so easily one can be taken advantage of

Perfect area

This is a lovely and comfortable basement unit. Extremely clean and organized. Centrally located to all the sightseeing we had planned. Quiet neighborhood.
