Our disappointment
1. The paramount reason I chose this property was for the swim spa. Upon arrival, we were dismayed that the swim spa jets were not functional- like soaking in a huge bathtub and we HAD NOT been notified that it was not fully functional before our arrival. What made matters worse, when I reached out to the agent after we arrived, I was informed that the spa was awaiting parts to correct the issue. It seems the advertising was misleading and no mention was made of the "nonfunctioning spa"!
I FEEL I am a victim of false advertising because I was not informed. Then when the agent offered me a measly $150 credit off of my almost $8000 investment for my 5 day stay...let's say I am not a happy camper. I had saved for three years to be able to pay for this vacation for my sister, brother-in-law, and niece. I am almost 74 years old and still work to meet my expenses so it was difficult to accept these disappointments.
2. The stench in the trash container in the kitchen was off-putting. Also the trash barrels on the ground floor had not been emptied so we dealt with the odor every time we used the elevator and left the property.
3. The powder room had not been cleaned-trash in the trash can.
4. The locked storage room that held spare beach items malfunctioned and we had to call for repair. Again, no part was available and the room had to be left unsecured.
On a positive note, the location was suitable however being located adjacent to beach access created a noisy environment.
