In nearby Nailsworth (6 minute drive or 30 minute walk) there is a mix of traditional English country pubs, pizza restaurants, cafes and wine merchants. Further afield (11 minute drive!), in the sought after Stroud there are lots of independent shops and restaurants as well as the multi award winning Stroud Farmers Market on Saturdays. Offering everything from local cheese, chutneys and street food to textiles, vinyl records and jewellery - it is a must when visiting the area.
