This convenient studio offers a touch of rugged character alongside tasteful contemporary furnishings and appointments. It’s a place to work, and a place to recharge after hours of play.

Your space is located in a quaint, multi-studio building with the feel of a Spanish-style hotel. A parking lot in front of the building offers plenty of space for guest vehicles, and a set of colorful tile steps leads to your private front door. A covered porch spans the entire front of the building, and a bench just outside your door provides a relaxing spot to gaze at the majestic Rockies while you sip your morning latte.

Inside, you’ll catch the Western vibe, from the wooden ceiling beams to the white stucco walls, juxtaposed against the casual elegance of contemporary furnishings and décor.

A queen size bed flanked by twin night tables provides a comfy place to rest your weary bones and watch TV. A wall-mounted air conditioning unit will keep you cool in warmer months. A leather loveseat offers a place to curl up with a good book.

You’ll appreciate the convenience of a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee machine for heating up take-out, preparing simple sandwiches and snacks, or just keeping yourself sufficiently caffeinated.

A multi-purpose table and chair can serve as a home office, a surface for preparing food, and a place to eat.

A closet with a built-in organizer will help keep your clothes tidy and easily accessible.

The bathroom includes a pedestal sink against a mosaic tile background in energizing shades of turquoise and spring green, and a combination shower/tub.

Hotel-grade linens are professionally laundered after every visit.

The Neighborhood:
This convenient, charming studio is located in the National Historic District of Old Colorado City, a neighborhood on the west side of Colorado Springs that’s dripping with character. Settled in the mid-19th century, it presents a mix of residences and commercial buildings boasting distinctive vintage architecture. It’s a well-loved corner of the city offering unique options for dining and shopping, as well as museums, street festivals, and more.

Once you’ve worn out Old Colorado City, you’ll want to tackle Downtown (7 minutes away by car) and Manitou Springs (3 minutes). Downtown provides the most cosmopolitan vibe in the city, with entertainment venues, nightlife, museums, dining, shopping and more. Manitou Springs is equally delightful, but in quite the opposite way. A tiny, endearing town with a long history, Manitou Springs is well worth a visit, with art galleries, shopping, and both casual and fine dining.

If you’re an outdoors enthusiast, your opportunities for fun are plentiful and near. Colorado Springs and the surrounding Rockies provide exhilarating fresh-air activities including hiking, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing, rafting, hunting, fishing, ziplining and much more. You’re never more than a few minutes from a trail, park, open space, or breathtaking vista.

A few of the most popular nearby outdoor attractions include:

Red Rock Canyon Open Space: hiking trails, bike park (5 minutes)

Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center: ancient rock formations tower 300 feet overhead (5 minutes)

Bear Creek Regional Park East: hiking and biking trails, tennis courts, playground (8 minutes)

Of course, no trip to Colorado Springs would be complete without a trip to Pikes Peak, a/k/a “America’s Mountain,” reaching 14,115 feet into the sky and offering views nothing short of stunning (15 minutes).

Getting Around:
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

Other Things to Note:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
- There is a shared Washer & Dryer in the Laundry Room / Office at the East end of the Building. Access info is available in the unit-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-The bathroom only offers the shower. The bathtub convertor is disabled.
-This is shared with a multi unit property with other vacation rentals and small businesses.
-Parking is limited to one spot per unit. There is limited overflow parking in the back so we don't recommend more than 2 vehicles per unit.
-There is a Mini Split unit controlled by remote to adjust the thermostat or level of heating and air inside the unit.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!
-Additional fees for dogs

Locations of all Security Cameras:
1. Ring Doorbell Cameras on the corner of the building facing all the front doors.
2. Ring Doorbell Camera on the back corner of the property facing the walk way.
It is on and operating.

This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited

Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:

- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early.

- Dog Policy:
-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver:
- Instead of charging a security deposit, we charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.

MOTHAGEDDEN
Due to a badly warped door, the room became infested with moths. Apparently there is a short season when the moths hatch and due to cold, rainy weather, they flooded our room through the opening in the door. I spent an hour in the car while my husband attempted to kill them all, but there were more the next morning. I will say that when I called the answering service to ask for another room, the girl was very kind and sympathetic, however, they were booked and couldn’t move us. We asked for a refund for the two nights we still had remaining (which they did give us), and we moved to a different hotel. The main bathroom light was also out and the USB plugs next to the bed did not work. Obviously, they are not responsible that it happened to be moth season, however, it would not have been an issue if the door fit properly as it should have.
