The Space:
This brand new townhouse will be your home away from home. It is ready to welcome you with all new stylish furniture, decor and luxury hotel-quality linen and towels. The kitchen literally has everything you could need to cook up a storm, including baking equipment, air fryer, pod and drip coffee maker! Top it off with 1GB high speed internet and a private workspace if you need it. Perfect for an adventurous holiday, relaxation or work-from-home alike.
The middle floor boasts a king bedroom with ensuite. Also on this level is a full bathroom and queen bedroom with a dedicated work space. Each bedroom has a wall-mounted Smart TV with apps for you to log into your own account, or free LG channels. Both bathrooms on this level have in-floor heating. On the ground floor, accessed via the garage, is a dedicated king suite with its own exterior entrance. Perfect for the in-laws or older kids, this suite has a fridge, microwave and coffee-making facilities, and the entire suite has in-floor heating.
The main living area on the top floor offers the perfect place to gather and relax, including a queen sofa bed for additional 1-2 guests. Fantastic breakfast bar to gather and eat or entertain the chef! And did we mention the views? Panoramic south facing views from the cathedral ceiling windows inside, or step out onto the deck to see even further. On the deck itself there is seating, a gas fire table (not available if top surface is frozen) and a gas BBQ.
We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!).
The home is best suited for 3 couples, or families of up to 6-8 people. Grizzly Paw Brewery is a 5 minute walk away, with its gorgeous new restaurant (Tank 310) and fun brewery tours. Elevation Place, with its indoor pool, water slide, lazy river and outstanding climbing wall, is a 5 minute walk. Or take a 10 minute stroll downtown via serene Policeman's Creek, and enjoy the many restaurants and shopping Canmore has to share. A small enclosed off leash dog park is a short 1 minute drive up Bow Valley Trail, or step outside the door onto the many wooded paths in nearby Spring Creek Village when Fido needs a walk.
Canmore offers loads of opportunities for the adventurous and serene alike. Hike, bike, climb, ski, white water raft or canoe, and when you need a little downtime, settle with a picnic blanket and a book in a park besides the river in summer, or cosy up in front of the fire in winter.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to all areas of the townhouse including the one car garage.
The Neighborhood:
This quiet neighborhood is only a 10-minute walk to downtown. Breakfast and dine at cafes and restaurants that are even closer. Drive 15 minutes to reach the boutiques and sights of Banff, and ski, bike, and hike in nearby Banff National Park.
Getting Around:
Canmore is a very walkable town, and you are an easy 10 minutes walk downtown. There's good local transit available too with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (Lake Louise bus is summer only).
Other Things to Note:
The firepit reported in a couple of reviews has been repaired and is working well. Please also note that the entrance to the ground floor bedroom suite is via the garage. There is soft-fall flooring to make a pathway so you don't have to walk on the concrete to get to the door. See garage photos for details.
