Beautiful house and location, best hosts
We are a family of four, returned from a fortnight in this fantastic property in south Evia. The owners Sofia and Dimitris gave us the warmest of welcome right from the start of the booking process - swift responses to questions; generously collecting us from the port on arrival; helping us to bring shopping back in their camper van; and providing helpful knowledge about places to see on Evia.
The house is comfortable and accommodating. It is neatly designed to allow for a variety of different arrangements. We stayed in the first floor flat with the most beautiful view of the sea - it was wonderful to eat breakfast on the balcony looking at the Petali islands beyond. Lots of comfortable sofa chairs inside and out, an adequately stocked kitchen unit and efficient air-con. The shower/bathroom is small but perfectly formed. The garden area is spacious and kitted out with things to do and a small plunge pool, perfect for cooling off on a hot afternoon.
The nearest beach is about 10 mins walk, it's naturally well-shaded with trees, has clear shallow water. A second beach is a little further away but equally beautiful with a couple of tavernas.
We can't thank Sofia and Dimitris enough for their warm and relaxed welcome, kind and helpful hospitality. We enjoyed a couple of barbecues with them and had some great conversations!
This was a wonderful introduction to Evia, we will be returning! No hesitation to recommend this lovely property and fabulous owners.
