Le sel a la capacit�� de donner de la saveur à ce qui est autrement fade et de lumière pour voir votre chemin. "Salt 'N Light" est une magnifique maison située dans le lotissement Whalehead. Décoré avec goût cette luxueuse propriété dispose de chambres de maître, des draps pour les lits fournis et des serviettes pour l'occupation de la maison, une piscine chauffée solaire et un jacuzzi apaisante, des ponts supérieurs et la montre du navire, vous pouvez attraper un aperçu de la mer.
Il y a plusieurs activités de plein air telles que le basket-ball et jeu de palets. Mais la pièce de résistance est le dompteur d'escalier à l'étage inférieur qui rend plus facile à transporter des bagages, des produits d'épicerie et les articles volumineux qui sont une poignée. Baby Jogger sur demande seulement.

Reviewer Comments: we love this homelove the updates that have been done over the yearsbeen coming to this house now 20 yearswe know the family and they are wonderful peoplewe know you can't update everything at one time but the outside exterior of the home does need updated- paint, etc.it's like home away from homeas far as getting the keys- it is not customer freindly to have to wait til 4pm to get a key and then have to drive up to the home- when you are to be able to get in your home at 4pm. you all know traffic at that time! needs to be an office in timbuck II or something for the homes that are up at that end.more attention to cleaning details should be made- overall it was good just little things

Beautiful spot

Great property, great location. Wish there had been a door code instead of physical keys and that it wasn’t therefor necessary to stop by the property manager’s office 30 mins away. At one point I mentioned to the PM a minor maintenance issue. They sent someone promptly to address it which was nice but the maintenance person did show up unannounced. These nitpicks aside, we’d be happy to rent the house again.

Great House but not clean

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is great. We loved the location. It was close to the beach and the pool was great. However, the house was not clean upon arrival. It looked like some of the bathrooms were not cleaned. There was what looked like poop on one of the bathroom walls and short black hairs in the was really gross. When I call to complain, it was after hours and I was not able to talk to anyone. By the time someone called me back I had already cleaned it myself. Not how I wanted to start our family vacation.

Not great, not terrible

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were happy with the location. It was helpful to have a beach cart and chairs provided. This property is very outdated though and could use a lot of upgrades. Shower pressure was horrible in some of the bathrooms. My daughter got a huge splinter in her toe walking up the deck steps. Bikes were advertised to come with the house; however we were told once we got there and asked about them that they were no longer coming with the property. There were a few things in need of repair which we had to call to report. We were not super impressed but also not completely disappointed.

Thanks for responding to our jacuzzi issues promptly and sending the service tech to fix the water issue. I know we will rent again! An improvement opportunity suggestion: purchase a propane grill because the small charcoal grills are a pain.

Only complaint we would have is it still needs a deep clean as bathroom shower drains needed cleared of hair. Crumbs of food under/in furniture and beds. Outside pool area was great. I would remove the bikes from the advertising as bike were not present.

CLEAN and SO CLOSE TO BEACH

The pool deck was NEW and we spent many hours at pool and playing shuffleboard. We arrived to a very CLEAN house! So close to beach which was nice for our pregnant gal :) This house was awesome and we would love to come back!

Great backyard-we especially enjoyed playing shuffleboard. Pool was nice,but the solar panels didn't seem to work, the water was very cold. Very kid friendly. Glad to have gates on the deck stairs and top stairs. Perfect size for our family. Kitchen well supplied. A 2nd frig would have helped.

Another Great OBX Vacation

This property by far was the best location and when getting 6 kids {3-10 yrs} to the beach and all the paraphernalia needed for the day, proximity made a difference. The property included a spacious backyard with activities for all ages. Our little ones enjoyed the swings very much. We will come back

There was a minor problem with the kitchen faucet (replaced during our stay), a mid-floor commode flush (required plunging), and we got some splinters from the pool deck. We are coming back again next year.

Great beach vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a wonderful experience. It was spacious, clean, updated, and well laid out. Everything we could want was included. The pool and hot tub were nice. The deck was spacious and comfortable, with seating for everyone. Inside, besides being clean, the details were good. The wall and floor finishes were updated and nice. The main level enough seating for 14 to eat or watch tv together. I love the 3rd floor layout. The private offset captains watch room was used frequently. The raised offset recreation/dining area was used to play board games. This house is in a great spot right by a beach access. Shopping was close. We had a great time!!
