The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this classic beachfront condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, a newly installed HVAC unit, a private balcony with terrific beach views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Complimentary building-provided WiFi is a courtesy and not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Golden Sands

We have been staying at the Golden Sands for several years. Love everything about it. The Tiki Hut and its staff are attentive and fast workers. Food is excellent. Will be back again.

Great location and amenities

This was a great location and the building has many amenities for families to enjoy. The unit itself is dated as others mentioned but we really only needed it as a changing/sleeping space. Carpet stained and screen door to patio was not on its track upon arrival. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would advise to not don't expect alot out of the unit other than a fabulous location and use of the buildings many amenities.

Room 508

We had a great week despite the weather and the clogged kitchen sink, and the hot water did not seem to stay warm. It stayed warm for the first maybe 5 min you were in the shower and turned cold…. Also Golden sands shut down everything on deck on days it was not even raining.

Unit could use some repairs and updates

New couch and blind in living room were nice additions. Not having a coffee pot or toaster that worked was an inconvenience. Also, neither sinks drained and disposal did not work. Kitchen and appliances could use a big update.

Overall was nice to me close to beach

Some of the appliances didn’t work. The washing machine was broken when we got there and no one informed us before our stay. Not the nicest but it did the job! Great view!

Run. Absolutely Horrible Unit

Terrible unit. Note on sofa bed, "do not pull bed out", note on washer "needs service", it did not work. Light above stove and toaster do not work, Vertical blinds do not move, slats missing, Sliding door extremely difficult to open. Shower has mold and needs to be re-caulked. Someone stuck toilet paper iin the gaps of caulking. Bathroom heat lamp control switch hanging from wall, wires exposed. Toilet needs to be flushed twice most of the time to operate correctly. Fully stocked kitchen has 2 soup spoons and 4 forks. I contacted Vacasa more than once, not one reply via phone, text, or email. They said management would call. I don't expect to be contacted. They are too large a company to have any personal interaction. Loved when I was dealing with CBVacations for 20+ years, they were always professional and wonderful to deal with. We have been coming to the Golden Sands twice a year for many years. Never had an issue, love the resort. I will rent from anyone else other than Vacasa.

I loved the location. The unit was awful. Nothing was working. Toaster, washing machine, wifi, lights over stove, light in the refrigerator. The bathroom had toilet paper stuck in a whole in the ceiling.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. The carpets were filthy. The tub was poorly scrubbed. The couch needs replacing. Several lights were inoperable...how could they not have been known???

Much better than expected

I was late in booking our trip for a dance competition. With this room still available, I was worried on the condition and why no one else booked it. This condo was perfect for us. It was just myself, husband and daughter. We did not feel crowded at all even with all our beach and dance stuff. The kitchen was well stocked even with coffee filters. This room is on the 5th floor, so not too high for those who do not like heights but high enough to look out into the ocean. We enjoyed the music from the Tiki Bar on Wednesday night. If we get into the competition again next year, I will be happy to book here. only downside I have to mention is for the light sleepers. The AC is in the bedroom closet and it is pretty loud especially when it kicks on.
