Views that cant be beat! Enjoy the sunrise over the ocean every morning on your balcony, endless ocean views during the day and a sunset over the bay in the evening from the front balcony! Golden sands resort offers so many amenities you wouldn't need to leave if you didn't want! A outside pool with a tiki bar, a lounge deck, a kiddie pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, beach volleyball court, a snack shop, deli, ice cream shop and all adjoining with the beach and ocean just steps away! Also a arcade, a indoor pool, sauna, game room and gym all in the penthouse overlooking the ocean! Happy Hour with live entertainment is offered many nights a week at the tiki bar on the pool deck!

Enjoy our renovated condo in the prestigious Golden Sands condo building. The unit is spacious, comfortable and can sleep 4. A comfortable king bed in the bedroom with a view of the bay, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, You will have fresh sheets and linens and comforters are cleaned between each rental. Air conditioning, washer/dryer in the unit, high speed internet, smart tv with cable and dvd player are all some of the amenities in the condo! Kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need to cook a full meal if you desire!

In the evening enjoy all Ocean City has to offer with many restaurants nearby and if you choose to head down to the boardwalk, bus service stops right outside the condo building! Check out the chamber of commerce link for all theres to do in OC!

*Golden Sands will charge a $75 amenity/parking fee at check in which will give you a parking and amenity pass. If you need more then one parking spot you can buy one from them for $20.

A few issues

The maintenance on this condo has not been kept up. The shower door was stuck so we could not enter the shower at all. When maintenance tried to fix it the door shattered. Maintenance provided a shower curtain which worked but we had to be careful not to touch the other shower door in case it also shattered. The electric stove burner caught on fire when we boiled a pot of water on it. We were able to put the fire out with water and then aired out the condo. The blinds on the left side of the balcony could not be opened because one of the wands had broken off. The location right on the beach was great and the layout of the condo was fine. The check in was easy until you got to the elevators. For a building with 22 floors there were only 4 elevators making the wait very long as many people were checking in at the same time.

Let us start with the kitchen, hodge podge with nothing, one fry pan and one pot. health emergency MOLD where food can be stored. The iron setting near glass is a disaster waiting to happen. The sofa bed is drooping on the floor. No comfortable sitting. The bed mattress cannot cannot be described other than garbage. You represent this mess, obviously no standards at all. A rebate should be had. There will be no return. I will continue with the V company. I do not see this appearing on your sight. A absolute disaster!

Great location awesome views!

The location was very convenient and the beach views were amazing! We had some awesome moons at night and watched a beautiful sunrise. The hotel had a ton of amenities which was great. The only negative was the mattress in the bedroom was not very comfortable and I wish the sheets and comforter were a bit softer and nicer. The place was good enough but needs a little updating, or TLC I would say. The view from the living room was amazing but the sun was very bright during the day & made the place hot bc there were no blinds on the sliding door. We were able to check in a little early so that was nice and the owner messaged me right back very quickly. Would recommend and go back for sure!

Just ok

Minimal and I say minimal accommodations. The entire unit has not been updated or touched since circa 1985. The furnishings and kitchen utensils are garage sale specials. The building is wildly outdated and the elevators and Wi-Fi are horrendous. Check google for ratings on Golden Sands, a lot to learn.

This is our 3 year staying!! Absolutely love the Host and her properties!! Beautiful views and love the Tiki bar and the crabcake!! Will be back next year!!

Overall our stay was very good. The location and amenities were great. One area in need of of improvement is the couch. The pull out couch needs to be replaced because the mattress/ bar underneath is bent. Unfortunately, not a very comfortable sleep for my daughters. A suggestion for improvement is to possibly provide a Kerig Coffee maker to guests for quick convenience in the morning. The linens and towels being provided were a plus. Thank you...We enjoyed our stay.

Not so clean

Units views were very nice. Unit was not cleaned prior to arrival . Sand was everywhere, tv had hand prints from child from whatever child was eating, mirrors dirty, microwave dirty balcony had 1 chair,etc. would not recommend renting this unit

Great location Condo ok

We are getting ready to leave. I just wanted to share with you a few things. I run a residential cleaning company. We do several -------- turnovers. These are things I found wrong with this condo. 1. Floors all had sand on them. 2. Bed had no sheets on it. There was a bag left in living room that had cleans sheets in it. 3. Refrigerator had food/open bottles of water in it. 4. Bathroom - shower doors full of soap scum - sink was filthy- 1 roll of toilet paper - towel bar falling off wall. 5. Sliding glass doors handprints all over it. 7. Wet towels in washer. 8. Bed skirt is ripped. 9. Blinds in both living room and bedroom are missing slats. I always carry a cleaning bag with me. I did clean what I could to make myself feel comfortable. I would be embarrassed if my cleaners left a place like this. I always want feedback from our clients good or bad this is why I’m sharing this information with you. Golden Sands it self very nice stay. The condo we rented had some isssues. Would definitely come here just not this condo.

Great location on the beach and the condo had lots of things to do for the kids. Wish the vacuum would have worked better at cleaning up sand in the room though. Overall great stay.

6-11th of June

It’s a perfect time to go. Not many visitors so there’s no elevator back up. The room was great everything up to expectations.Though the elevators take forever when there is a large surge of visitors to the cando.

Nice location and condo

Condo is nice and has great ocean front view. Had everything we needed including beach chairs and sand toys for the kids. Had clean linens and towels and washer/dryer was a plus. Only issue we had was floors turned feet black when walking barefoot, so I bought a mop and it helped. There was also a small sweeper we used everyday to help with sand. I would suggest maybe a couple runner rugs. I bought two small ones for the bathroom. They had some entertainment most nights, but for some reason they were kicking people out of the pool at 5:00 and didn't give a reason, the sign said its open till 10pm. The tiki bar has good drinks and food items reasonably priced, but open times changed daily. There is a little convenient store and ice cream shop on the property and walking distance to stores/restaurants. Two grocery stores close by, Food Lion has the lowest prices. There is quite a wait sometimes for elevators especially on checkin days and do not park in any parking spot except the one you are assigned or you will get a boot on your tire! Saw it happen to a few people. Overall was a nice vacation

Absolutely Disgusted!!!

I booked this rental for a much needed vacation for myself, my 74 year old Mom who is currently in a wheelchair from a hip fracture and my 12 year old daughter. I had called prior to our trip to see if this location would be handicap accessible, the only ramp they have was located in the trash area which smelled terrible, you had to wait for a lifeguard to come from an hour away to access the locked beach wheelchair that they have for use to get on the beach, long story short my mom was unable to get into the sand. The first night while looking forward to a great night sleep in the king size bed, I was appalled by the mattress!!! It literally looked like it was taken from a dumpster, it was covered by a new mattress cover thinking that no one would notice, it was so disgusting!! It looked like signs of bedbugs. I was horrified and didn’t even want our luggage to be kept in that room. I immediately contacted the owner of the property while looking for a hotel to stay since we only had the pull out sofa in the living room for three people, she apologized and said she would order a new mattress however it would not get there in time for our vacation. My mom with a broken hip and myself had to sleep on the uncomfortable pull out sofa couch while my daughter slept on a couch cushion on the floor. The next day I again contacted the property owner and she suggested getting an air mattress. The nearest Walmart was off the Island 45 minutes away and spent the second day of our trip on the road sitting in the beach traffic coming in. The one thing that we look forward too was a good night sleep which we did not get at all. Our vacation was completely ruined with this experience. I don’t think I will be using any of these services again since you don’t know what you are going to get.

Beautiful view but needs work.

Beautiful view. Small but good for 1-2 people. Nice decor and beautiful views from both ends of condo. The condo needs some attention; the bathroom especially. The toilet handle constantly disconnects from the flushing mechanism requiring removal of the lid several times a day. The shower handle was sitting on a shelf in the shower stall. I had to reinstall to use the shower. I like to open the sliding doors to enjoy the ocean sounds but that was interrupted each evening with resort-style party music. While this might be fun for the partying crowd, I found it noisy and looked forward to that ending each evening. It is in the listing but I missed that. I did enjoy my stay but my expectations of a quiet getaway were only partially met.

Everything you need location!

This property was perfect! It had everything we needed. We did not need to leave, if we didn’t want to! Ocean view from living room was breathtaking, listening to the waves at sunrise, bayside view at sunset is magical! Each night the property hosts live entertainment. DJ or band, family fun night. Tiki bar was a great plus! Fun frozen cocktails for the adults and delicious food available too! I was absolutely impressed with the food & reasonable prices! Kids meals had little apple sauce with Capri sun included. Cocktails come without alcohol as well for kids or non drinkers to enjoy! Staff was so sweet & hard workers!! Perfect temperature pool with separate kiddie pool for babies! Indoor rooftop pool with awesome view, sauna, and gym! Shops attached for convenience if you forgot anything! A deli, ice cream shop, mini mart, arcade & tons to do! A private little beach to lay in sun, read, or play volleyball then get rinsed off at outdoor shower before heading up to your condo apartment with no sandy feet! Best part is the short walk to beach! No lugging tons of beach items miles away. Our host, Christina, was amazing! She had everything we needed on arrival, plus beach chairs & sand toys! That was a total perk! She was immediately available for any of my questions and was extremely accommodating! She had the condo decorated so nicely & it felt like our little getaway home! Clean & quaint! She provided items I completely forgot about. Ziplock bags & dish soap with sponge! A blender, iron, and fully equipped kitchen with coffee pot! The location in ocean city was perfect for our family too. It was a “family” spot! Away from the craziness! Great surrounding restaurants, mini golf, jolly Rogers amusement park, grocery stores, wine stores, water parks, and boardwalk just 15 min ride away! This was a great family location & I will certainly book with Christina (Golden Sands) again! I miss it already!

Beachfront Getaway

This Condo unit was perfect for the 2 of us. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the waves and people watching. It is nicely decorated and has a fully equipped kitchen, great king sized bed and nice sized bathroom. If we ever come back to Ocean City we would try to book this same Condo unit. Christina was very helpful and accommodating.
