Located on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, The Willows is a welcoming home from home with beautiful open countryside right on its doorstep. Sleeping up to six guests, this comfortable and spacious property is perfect for family staycations or getaways with friends. You’ll feel at home as soon as you step foot into The Willows. With beautiful interiors and high-quality furnishings, there is a homely and relaxing feel throughout.
The Space:
Head to the fully equipped kitchen and you’ll find a modern, clean space. Ideal for families and couples alike, the property also benefits from an open plan living and dining area which shares the kitchen space, and here you can enjoy meals and relax with your loved ones in front of the log burner.
The house boasts three spacious bedrooms – two on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The ground floor is home to a super-king size room while the second bedroom is a double. On the first floor you’ll find the master bedroom which boasts a king-size bed, flat screen TV, and ensuite shower room. Please note that the super-king bed is zip & link so this can be split into two singles upon request at the time of booking.
The Willows also has a further bathroom on the ground floor. This family bathroom is complete with a bathtub and separate walk-in shower.
The property also boasts plenty of outdoor space. When staying at The Willows, you can enjoy use of decked areas at the front and rear, a gravelled seating area to the side of the building, along with two lawned areas in front of the house.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Willows are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your arrival.
Private on-site parking is available for up to three vehicles at The Willows.
A cot & high chair are available at The Willows, however these will need requesting upon booking.

Teversal, nestled on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, is a quaint village that boasts a rich history and picturesque landscapes. Located near the historic market town of Chesterfield with its iconic Crooked Spire, along with Mansfield, Teversal is renowned for its charm, blending the tranquillity of rural life with the convenience of nearby modern amenities.
One of the village's notable features is Teversal Manor, a stunning Grade II listed building with origins dating back to the 17th century. The manor's architecture reflects the area's historical significance, providing a glimpse into the village's past.
Teversal's picturesque surroundings are further enhanced by the Teversal Trails, a network of walking and cycling paths that wind through scenic woodlands and former colliery sites. The trails not only offer a delightful escape into nature but also highlight the village's coal mining heritage.
When staying in Teversal, you'll be able to explore the Peak District's beauty with ease. Hardwick Hall, visible from The Willows, is a spectacular Elizabethan house filled with rich furnishings and tapestries preserved by successive generations of the Devonshire family and is well worth a visit. For younger guests, why not take a trip to Sherwood Forest, famous for being the setting of Robin Hood.
Getting Around:
The closest train station to Teversal is Sutton Parkway. From here, there are direct routes to Bulwell, Hucknall, Kirkby in Ashfield, Mansfield, Nottingham, Shirebrook and Worksop.
One bus route can be found running through Teversal. Hop on the 417 to visit Sutton-in-Ashfield.
The nearest airport to Teversal is East Midlands International, 28 miles away from the village.
