The inviting living room offers comfortable sofas and a wood burner, moving through the archway you pass into the spacious dining room. Through another archway you enter the well-appointed galley kitchen which offers ample facilities and space to prepare anything from a picnic to a gourmet meal. A little further on the downstairs is completed with a toilet. Moving upstairs there is a choice of three bedrooms, a master bedroom with en-suite shower and two further bedrooms which share the family bathroom, with its deep roll-top bath and separate shower.
Coniston is a lovely little village that offers a choice of five pubs, cafés and a good selection of gift and convenience stores. If you are looking for outdoor adventure you don’t need to venture far, Coniston Water is within walking distance, or if you fancy a hike there is ’Coniston Old Man’, which offers a challenge but rewards with fantastic views. There is easy access to other famous Lake District attractions including Windermere or the lakeside towns of Bowness and Ambleside. There is truly something for everyone within easy reach of Coniston and wherever you go it’s a breath-taking journey. Outdoor enthusiasts can engage in cycling, hiking, climbing or a variety of water sports, thrill seekers can enjoy escape rooms, Go Ape, or segways. Culture vultures can enjoy Beatrix Potter or Wordsworth’s homes and museums. Families can visit the aquarium, Safari Zoo or birds of prey, or maybe you can simply enjoy a day at the races or a Michelin star meal. Its the variety and of course the stunning scenery that draws people back to the Lake District National Park time and time again.
