L’appartement Est juste au dessus d’un café, musique à fond toute la journée... jusqu’à 2h du matin ... Mini balcon donnant sur un couloir....dégermassent Propreté à désirer en plus on paie pour le ménage mais personne n’est jamais passé.

Checked in. Room not as pictured. Pictures showed one large area. Actually had separate bedroom and kitchen in separate location. Debris on kitchen cabinets and sand still on the floor. Next morning, unable to use handheld in the shower, found heavy mold behind bathtub. We could not stay a second night. Offered 100 refund. But we never received it.

Size of property was great for 5 people.Only 3 glasses and cups were supplied. Air conditioning not the strongest, bedroom barely had any air conditioning. Floor was poorly mopped and swiped. No drawers to unpack. Bare minimals.

Bachelorette Party Review

This property is in an EXCELLENT location on South Beach! Right across from the beach and right on Ocean Drive. You can walk to anywhere, Versace Mansion is practically next door and so many great places to eat and bars to visit. I had 3 other friends with me and the two who slept on the couches felt comfortable for not being in a bed. This location is right above the Palace bar and the balcony faces the restaurant so you have a pretty good view of the shows that happen everyday. The 4 days we were there the bar closed at midnight so it really wasn’t raging all night long like some of these reviews mentioned. It’s truly a great location to be, everything is walking distance. The only 2 things that made this not a 5 star is the sink in the bathroom would constantly fill and not drain and it was yucky. We had to plunge it and that helped a little but not very well. The other was that the chain lock on the front door to lock the front is broken and as young women in their 20s we would’ve like that extra safety measure but other than these 2 things we absolutely loved our stay here and would for sure book here again in the future!

Terrible Location

Owner did not specify that rental was right above an open air club that was open until 2 am. We did not check in until 7:30 pm and music was loud already by then. One of the speakers for the club was mounted right by our balcony on 2nd floor. It was misrepresented that room was inside building. Check in lobby is around corner and room is on strip in alleyway. I contacted the owner at 10 pm upset about noise and he was not understanding or responsive at all. The music got even louder and did not get quiet. We could not sleep at all. We could not connect to Wi-Fi network listed. And our room keys given to us originally were not the right ones. I feel that this rental was terribly misrepresented and had to move and stay in another place for the rest of our visit after horrible night.

The property photographer did a great job. One TV didn't work. It is noisy as advertised. Not too bad for us because the hurricane was blowing by bringing rain and putting a damper on the parties in the bar below. Other than the bar below the location was great. Needs a wardrobe in the bedroom. Overall I'm happy with the stay.

Disappointed in quality of accommodations

The property manager says this is one of his most popular units, and I believe him because it is well-used and run down. We were unhappy with it when we arrived and decided not to stay after we returned from dinner that evening. Fortunately, we live in another part of Florida so we could turn around and drive home; since it was Christmas week other hotels in the area were fully booked. I suggest that VRBO require that all rentals have updated photos at least yearly so that renters have a better idea what they are getting when they book. I believe the photos on the site are probably about 10 years old. If you are planning just to have a place to crash in summer after a day at the beach, this unit might be ok, but neither me nor my adult children were willing to stay here for our Christmas vacation, so we left..

Great location

The location is right in the heart of South Beach. We enjoyed watching the nightly shows at The Palace from our balcony. It is loud at night but we knew that going in so no big deal. The pool was being renovated but when we let the owners know they quickly got us access to The Victor’s hotel pool which was awesome. The pool at the hotel was only closed for two days of our stay and when it opened it was awesome. It has a beautiful view of the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Awful Dirty Unsecure

So many issues… Does not look like pictures. Chain on front door broken, toilet seat broken, lamp in Livingroom about to fall from ceiling, actual “Roll” of duck tape holding dining table together. Told not to use the safe as it’s unsafe to do so. Vents all plugged up, TV in Livingroom makes strange noises, shower wand in bathroom is turned off, balcony door to get back in has no handle (broken off), internet does not work because of concrete walls. Heater/AC hard to regulate and super loud. Swimming pool upstairs has very few lounge chairs and seating looks nothing like pictures. Pool itself is coming apart on steps, edges and the bottom. Of course the noise from downstairs was crazy loud, but we kind of expected that. Checkin staff was very friendly, bed comfortable and location was great. Our friends also rented a unit with similar issues. Very old, out of date place. We would NEVER stay here again.

Very Active LGBTQ community

The condo was in a very active community. We enjoyed the night life. But the condo is next door to the gay club and need to be detailed clean. The vents was very dirty and the light globe has gummy worms in it. The balcony and windows need to be pressure washes. I felt like the condo was very over priced. I will NOT choose this condo again.

Great Location

The place needs some updating, but I enjoyed it. It was clean. It was loud, but not as loud as when I am at home. I would stay there again. You can't really have your curtains open to enjoy the view unless you want everyone looking into the room while they enjoy the entertainment downstairs. There is also a balcony if you want to people watch.

CONDO WAS DISAPPOINTING

We stayed from 8/25 thru 8/31/21. Unit was not very clean. There is mold on a/c air vents. Bathroom had hair on sink and in tub. Despite being reported in previous review of 4/21, full size LG refrigerator is still broken. A dorm size fridge is sitting on kitchen floor. Small freezer is so full of ice build up that you can't put anything in it. We reported both issues, no response from owners or assistant manager. A fully functioning kitchen is one of the main reasons we chose a VRBO. We had no ice for drinks during our entire stay nor did we have much room for food. Kitchen lighting terrible. We only had clean towels (total of four) twice in 7 days and had to request those. No trash pulled. We sat our bags outside the door. No beds made which was ok. Mattress was too small for the frame it was in. Curtains in living room are old and don't completely cover windows on balcony side that overlooks a very loud bar. The inside door to balcony does not stay closed. Had to prop a chair against it. Kitchen door latch and lock are in poor condition. The location was perfect for ocean view but as promised by owners, ocean cannot be seen from the balcony. Were hoping to drink morning coffee while watching the ocean. Instead we got loud music starting at 10:00 am that went until 1:00 am the next morning. We made several attempts to report issues to owners and assistant manager but received no response. We feel we are entitled to a partial refund due to lack of amenities that were advertised and not provided during our stay. Front desk staff were also unprofessional at times. I am sure the usual response from the hosts will be as was on previous reviews, "Host’s response: Thank you again for staying with us. We look forward to having you back again soon with us in South Beach, Miami." Only we won't be invited back after this review. Hosts definitely need to make improvements. We probably won't utilize another VRBO in the future.

Good location

The location is good , near everything! The property itself was not as clean as expected. The refrigerator was broken so we could not store anything frozen (ice, ice cream) a dorm size fridge was provided =no space. No clean towels were provided despite asking maid and front desk. Owner should probably hire a new cleaning service. The pillow cases were not washed, there was so much dust under the bed /other areas and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. We found a local laundromat to wash towels and pillow cases. It is a very nice place just needs better cleaning.

Checkin was late we didnt get in till 4:30. There were roaches in unit. They never came to clean the unit during 5 day stay. We ran out of toilet paper. We never got a change of linens. At times the front desk staff had a nasty attitude.

TERRIBLE

Where to begin!!! We paid one week in advance. First night, we cleaned it ourselves. Thurs, evening music next door went until 11:30. We asked about the weekend shows at the bar our balcony overlooked, we were told they often go til 1am or 2am. We BOOKED another hotel for weekend. We did come back to enjoy our original beach condo during the day, weekend shows are in the afternoon as well. The windows vibrated from the music. Not able to relax. Any unit a block away would make SB enjoyable. We left several msgs to the owner, finally he contacted us, to see if we could be moved, they were full. Rob said call the code compliance after midnight, I informed him we couldn’t even enjoy the days in the unit because of the extremely loud music and cheering. Noise is one thing, this was on a concert level. He said “that’s South Beach”. We stayed Sun night, music/show went til 1:30am. We booked elsewhere our last two nights. I do not recommend staying at this condo unless you want to party all weekend during the day and every night. So disappointed. We basically paid double for our vacation. BEWARE..... their description of this condo does say it is above a bar .... but it is adjacent to a drag queen bar (which we do not judge anyone’s entertainment preference) where the show is basically in your living room area. The music from outside speakers and crowd noise is what is disturbing! Way above normal “loud”.

Party Until...

Location is excellent for partying. One needs to . Go to Collins and Washington for better prices on drinks and food. The roof pool has amazing views. Great for pictures taking. However , the unit /apartment needed much to be desired. It needed a paint job, new curtains in every room and a good cleaning. Four new kitchen chairs is a must and new coffee cups. Will not stay here again, sorry, due to how unkept the unit was.

Perfect Location

My experience with this condo...it’s in a great location on Ocean Drive. A night club right under this condo. Few down falls is it doesn’t have a elevator for luggage purposes or stroller I had a infant and we had to pick the stroller up and down the steps each time. Another problem was I think we should get enough towels for at least 2 days because each day it took forever to get a new set of towels and last but not least the chain lock should be replaced for safety purpose! But perfect location and I would stay again!

Nothing we were promised. 1. We were to receive fresh towels, garbage emptied, and beds made

Daily. First day finally got fresh towels after complaining. 2nd day after complaining again got fresh towels and one bed made. 3rd day after complying twice, got fresh towels and one garbage emptied . Hotel staff very nice. Suppose to be on sight manager David who only answered us once. Dishwasher and safe non functional.
