Great solitude

Great cabin for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed stay. We were looking for peace and quiet for or anniversary and this totally fit the bill. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the porch. It was easy to find and not far from the different lake resorts.

Great location for experiencing the Land Between the Lakes

The home and location was exactly what we had been hoping for. Nestled in the trees, close to the water and just a bit of a drive to the Land Between the Lakes. Secluded yet close enough to Cadez and surrounding towns to eat and shop. Wonderful, clean and cozy.

Definitely worth it. Would for sure stay here again. Recommend eating at adams berry hill. A little drive but worth it. Senior lopez is great mexican also.

Hunting trip with family

The property was close to the LBL that I was hunting and had all the enmities of home very nice quiet neat place that I would recommend to anyone!!! The manager was helpful in every way and very polite.

Really enjoyed my stay at On The Rocks! It was a perfect place to relax after exploring Land Between the Lakes each day. Quiet nature, peaceful. Lots of birds to enjoy from the deck.

Great place to stay

The stay was great. I have know complaints except for one we left early because we couldn't get the heat to work and it was chilly inside but other than that everything else was wonderful. I would book this cabin again but the next time I would ask how to turn on the heat.

Getaway with friends

My husband and I traveled with another couple and found this wonderful gem in the beautiful area near Land Between the Lakes. There was a slight issue upon arrival which was handled promptly by the property owner -- great response and communication. We would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful fall foliage trip in Land Between the Lakes.

The cute cottage was nestled in the woods overlooking the lake. Beautiful deck spaces to enjoy made our trip perfect. The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. Suzanne was a perfect hostess. Thank you.

Peaceful and quiet

Peaceful and quiet. Clean inside with nice views. Was disappointed to find towels and linens left in the wash machine.(We finished that laundry before starting ours.) The grill was full of ashes! and is probably due to be replaced.

My BFF and I traveled down to Turkey Bay to do a bit of off road riding and wanted something in a quite area. This house was just the ticket. It was easy to find and the owners replied quickly to our questions. It was very clean inside and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. I did have a bit of trouble in the driveway but I am new to backing a trailer and I am sure someone with more experience would have no issue. We would recommend to others and enjoyed our stay.

Cabin review

This location was a great retreat for my wife and I in mid-October. The cabin was clean and the location was a bit remote(which is what we wanted). It was close enough for a day trip to Nashville, but we really enjoyed spending some time in the small town of Cadiz (make sure you try the local restaurant!) The owners were easy to communicate but we felt left alone as well. I would assume the area is busier during the summer with all the water recreation opportunities. Great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone. I

Nice, secluded location

It was a nice, secluded location but there was no cell phone service in the house....needed to drive a little down the street to get it. Actually, it added to our rest and relaxation, not to get phone calls, but we had to drive down the street to check in with our family as we usually talk to our adult kids every day. Also, the door code did not work so we had to drive to cell phone service area, call the hosts, but they directed us to another key in a secret location, so we got in after a short delay. We brought our own movies and dvd player, but there were no cords for hook up. It would be a nice addition to provide a dvd player in the living room. One other thing, there was no toaster but we used the oven so that was ok but would be a nice addition. By mistake we left our small planner, but they mailed it to us, which was much appreciated. Overall, we had a very nice time and will consider this location again when we are in need of a convenient get-a-way!

Perfect Little Home in the Treetops

We stayed at this property for four nights at the beginning of July. I was nervous about booking it because we are from Chicago and have no knowledge of this area. Boy, did I make a great decision!! They call this property a cottage but my husband and I saw it more like a small house with striking blue siding and modern wraparound porch and sturdy staircase. It sits atop a hill and we spent hours looking out from our porch perch with coffee in hand or a drink at the end of a fun day. We could truly decompress because it was so peaceful with little to no traffic. It's perfect for two but not sure about 3 or more because I have no experience with that. It's fairly close to the main road through Cadiz but you don't feel isolated, just comfortably alone. We visited all the attractions in the Land Between the Lakes and even found pickle ball courts in Benton! There is WIFI so there were no problems getting in touch with anyone. The property's hosts are great at communicating and have your comfort and safety in mind. We made delicious dinners in the fully stocked kitchen and visited Hancock's Market in Cadiz for all our food (easy drive). We spent hours just listening to birds and you could even see the lake. We didn't make a fire in the fire pit but it's there on the property. Our beds was really comfortable and the whole place was clean and tidy. We HIGHLY recommend this property and wish we had booked more time in the "treehouse."

Everything was great! We had everything we needed there at the cabin and it was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the charcoal and left a new bag since the old one was getting a little low! We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay while you're at Turkey Bay OHV. The drive way is a bit tight but we got our truck and trailer up with not much issue. Highly recommend.

Overall this was a great place. It is a bit out from everything, but the cost made up for the drive. The host was very responsive and helpful. It was clean and in good shape. The house was HOT upon arrival and took several hours to cool down. Bedtime with kids was difficult because of this. There's just one ac unit in the kitchen and ceiling fans throughout. Once cooled, it was fine.I wish the bedrooms were described differently, as it was a bit awkward with small children. One bedroom has an exterior door and the other is the "master" with the only bathroom attached. The beds were also a bit uncomfortable, but with only a 2 night stay, it was not terrible.The driveway up is rough! We have a 4x4 truck but could not imagine a smaller car making it up the hill in one piece. (This should be included in the listing) The kitchen included everything you need to cook. My 8yo enjoyed the games and toys in the chest, as well as the map of the US.The firepit out back was a nice touch and we enjoyed having everything you needed for that already available!

We had a great time in the Land Between the Lakes and this house was perfect for our stay. It was right by everything and was great for our lounge around day. 10/10 would stay again.
