Welcome to Sand N Sea - where you get exactly what the name says - views of the Sand and the Sea!
By The Sea (A condominium building) is located on Seawall Boulevard literally across Seawall Boulevard from the beach - and we'd love to host you at this lovely, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. From the queen beds in each of the 2 bedrooms, to the sleeper sofa in the living room - there's room for all. And 2 full bathrooms is close to unheard of in a 2 bedroom condo - but here is where you'll find it!
The kitchen has all full sized appliances and everything you'll need to prepare all of your own meals if you wish, or just heat up leftovers from any of Galveston's great restaurants - from fast food to fine dining/white tablecloth dining - you'll find it here on our little slice of paradise.
Very spacious condo, balcony overlooking the gulf where you can enjoy your morning coffee while wave and bird watching.
By the Sea Complex charges a resort/parking/amenity fee to each guest - we cannot control this, unfortunately - and we cannot collect and pay it in advance - it is paid directly to them upon your arrival. Like every condo complex in Galveston, the By The Sea complex does charge a resort/parking/amenity fee – this is something that is paid directly to them when you arrive – we cannot collect or pay this on your behalf. As of spring of 2025, the charges are $37.89 per vehicle (car, truck, motorcycle, slingshot, golf cart); $75.78 for a vehicle and trailer, and $10.83 per pet. These charges are in addition to the charges you are paying to My Galveston Getaway for rent and pet fees and please remember that we accept dogs only, and they must be approved in advance with any animal or breed identified as dangerous or vicious cannot be in the condo or at the complex. We may request a picture of the dog(s) before approving. There is a 2-dog maximum, with a combined total weight of 100 pounds. Thank you for understanding that these charges to the complex are out of our control.
The complex has a pool and gazebo/grilling area and is dog friendly - as is this condo with the required $75 nonrefundable pet fee. There are some restrictions - dogs only, and the size/breed is restricted as we cannot approve any animal or breed identified as dangerous or vicious including pit bull, rottweiler, chow, doberman or German shephard due to the insurance regulations of the homeowner's policy. We ask that dogs (though ours are family members, too) not be permitted on the furniture, and all rules regarding shots, leashes, tags, etc. that are in place by the Association and/or City of Galveston must be followed at all times when at the complex. Please bring your dog's shot records with you if you are bringing a dog to the By the Sea complex - they may ask to see them to verify they are up to date. Thank you.
We look forward to hosting you in this privately owned condo that the owners entrust us to manage on their behalf. Each condo at this complex is privately owned - while we manage a few - we don't manage them all.
We provide self check in instructions and then we allow our guests to enjoy their stay uninterrupted. However - should you need anything we are but a phone call away. This information is emailed 24-72 hours ahead of your scheduled arrival time.
The complex and this condo are dog friendly. The complex will ask for your dog’s shot records, and there are restrictions on dogs and breeds based on the owner’s insurance coverage – we are not able to accept pit bulls, rottweilers, chows, Dobermans or German Shephards based on the insurance coverage. There is a maximum of 2 dogs, a $75 per dog non refundable fee, and we ask that the dogs not be permitted on the furniture. Please clean up after your 4-legged family members (and the 2-legged variety as well) and follow all leash laws. In addition to the fees charged by My Galveston Getaway – the By The Sea complex charges a per dog fee as well.

What's included: Bed linens for all beds, bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that ours not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.
Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are not intended to last your entire group through your entire stay - but to get in, get situated and figure out where you will shop for what on the island.
There are pay per use laundry facilities at the complex – but not a washer/dryer in the condo itself.
We strive for 100% guest satisfaction – or as we call them – 5 Starfish Reviews. This is why we try to be as honest as possible in our listings. So if you find anything upon your arrival that was not as we described it – please give us a call and give us a chance to make it right! We want you to be happy. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.
Being 100% transparent - this is not the luxurious taj majal of rentals - it is clean, comfortable and definitely has everything mentioned as being there.
