Winter escape from midwest cold

My wife and I stayed at this condo unit for appr 12 days. The unit was clean as expected. Location was very good if you want to be on Seawall Blvd. Great views of the ocean. The blvd is directly in front of the facility, so expect traffic noise if you set outside on the balcony. Our host was very attentive to our needs. The kitchen is not fully stocked for home cooking as other VBRO units we've stayed at. Good news - Walmart is 1-2 blocks away. Parking was in the back of building. You will pay a small parking fee (1 -time) when you arrive. We felt very safe the entire time during our stay. Walks along the blvd are also a must (health permitting). You are very close to excellent dining, sports bars, etc. Make sure to take the time to go to historic downtown, visit the museums, tour the lovely homes, and immerse yourself in their culture. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

BEST OCEAN VIEW ON THE SEAWALL

If you want to sit on the porch and listen to the waves and watch the sea. THIS IS IT ! The porch seats 5 or more people and the unit is easy and friendly to use. Walk across the street to access the beach.

Anniversary trip/cruise

My wife and I stayed at this property for three nights before our cruise. It is an exceptional condo. Very clean and fantastic views from the balcony. I highly recommend this place without any hesitation.

Great location with fabulous views.

Absolutely adorable unit. Clean and spacious. We would love to come back. Parking fee is a one time $37.00 and although I negotiated a pet fee through the owner the front desk charged us a separate pet fee of $10.81

WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND

We stayed at Michelle's property in Galveston from July 3rd to July 10th, 2024, for the Nationals dance competition. Our trip coincided with the wrath of Hurricane Beryl, and despite the locals assuring us that everything would be fine, the reality was quite the opposite. Michelle, the property owner, was absolutely amazing throughout the entire ordeal. She contacted us the day before our arrival to ensure we felt safe and provided instructions on how to secure the patio doors. Unfortunately, Hurricane Beryl hit us hard—condos swaying, water pouring in, and power outages were all part of the experience. Despite these challenges, all of which were beyond Michelle’s control, she went above and beyond to support us.The day after the hurricane struck, Michelle drove 30 minutes from her home, despite losing power herself, to check on us. She brought non-perishable supplies and lunch, refusing to accept any payment. Although we had enough food, her gesture was incredibly thoughtful and reassuring. Michelle was accommodating and understanding throughout our stay. Due to the conditions, we decided to leave two days early and found a room at the only hotel with a generator. Michelle checked in with us daily and refunded us for the days we missed. Her exceptional customer service cannot be praised enough. Thank you Michelle

Great view!

Only 1 elevator was working which made for long wait times. Parking fee was $37.50 per vehicle - this expense should be included in description, but unit had a Great view and property was as advertised. Would definitely stay again.

Great Experience!

We had a great time. The hosts are great and easy to reach. Location is right across the street from the beach, but a few miles from most of the shopping and restaurants. Unfortunately there is no hot tub but the pool and dog areas are nice. Overall great experience.

Perfect location on the beach!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and spacious. Great location on the seawall. However, we did not know there would be a parking fee. I don't recall seeing this in the VRBO information. May want to include the fees so customers are aware. Thank you!!

Great place to stay on Galveston beach.

The condo was clean and everything we expected. Since we were staying for 9 days, we rearranged some towels and things kept in a cupboard in the bedroom to make room for our clothing. It worked out well. Everything was provided for a wonderful time at the beach: towels, chairs, umbrella, and even bikes. We didn't use all of these things, but it was nice to know they were there. Michelle is a wonderful host! She came to fix a couple of maintenance issues that weren't a big deal, and brought us gifts for our anniversary, which is why we made the trip. We would not hesitate to stay at this condo again, or any other that Michelle owns. My husband and I highly recommend the condo. The only downside is there is a bit of traffic noise at times, but the beautiful view more than makes up for it. Good location and close to restaurants. Thank you, Michelle, for a wonderful accommodation and the gifts! You are very thoughtful!
