Cette maison en bord de mer est prête à accueillir votre famille. Profitez de tout ce que Prime Hook Beach a à offrir du lever du soleil sur la baie au coucher du soleil sur le refuge faunique. Imaginez-vous en train de prendre votre petit-déjeuner face à la baie, de nager avec la famille directement sur votre terrasse, de regarder un magnifique coucher de soleil puis de prendre un feu de joie sous les étoiles sur une plage privée. Cette maison dispose d'une grande cuisine qui s'ouvre sur le salon et la salle à manger donnant sur la baie. La maison peut accueillir confortablement 6 personnes avec ses deux chambres et un grenier. La suite parentale dispose d'un balcon privé parfait pour regarder le coucher du soleil. Le maître a un lit King tandis que la 2ème chambre a un lit queen et un jumeau et le loft a un lit futon queen. Il y a un grand porche d'écran sur le devant de la maison parfait pour profiter du coucher du soleil ou simplement faire une sieste à l'ombre.

The Buoy House is always a treat to stay at for our family! It’s spacious with excellent views of the Bay and has a covered screened in porch for relaxing. Prime Hook is quiet but not too far from restaurants and shopping. The people are friendly and it’s fun to swim and beach comb. The house owner responds quickly and goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We definitely recommend this place!

Awesome stay!

This was our first time renting a house on the beach and we had such an amazing time! We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk up and down the path from the house to the beach. My son and my niece were able to boogie board on some decent sized waves at high tide. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely, well-maintained and well-appointed place. The owner is very responsive. This was our second time staying here. The mosquitoes were a bit rough this time, but repellent is an effective tool against them.

Simply amazing!

The Buoy House has got to be the best rental I've ever stayed in. It was neat and clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, well-furnished, just steps off the beach, located in a wonderful community, and the sunrises across the bay are spectacular. I don't know what else to say except "perfect"!

Back to Nature Retreat

The Bouy house is so nice. We loved the railings which have spindles in the shape of fish. These railings are inside and outside for an extremely cohesive look. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The host, Gunnar, is very responsive and gracious. The location is fantastic. It’s on Prime Hook beach, a natural beach. We saw lots of horseshoe crabs, dolphins, ducks, geese, rabbits, wild turkeys and more. We had so much fun shelling on the beach right outside the front door. We came home with a bucketful of them. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we had a great time. We went to the town of Milton for lunch and admired the cute town park. The Rehoboth Boardwalk was also fun - we played ping ball and other games in the arcade. On Wednesday of our stay, the weather was terrible, but the house had plenty of board games ( plus we brought some of our own). Cape Henlopen State Park is a must for anyone staying in the area. It is beautiful and has activities for everyone. This was a very memorable vacation for us! Thank you Gunnar for allowing us to experience your wonderful beach house!

The Buoy House getaway

Enjoyed another peaceful week at this beautiful home on the shores of the Delaware Bay. As we did last fall, we saw again a pod of dolphins moving up the Bay toward the Atlantic. Looking forward to our next visit!

Peaceful

Our time here was so peaceful. The solitude on the beach can't be beat. Having a fire on the beach has always been on the bucket list so it was awesome to check that off. The wildlife refuge is a great place to take a walk in nature. We seen multiple beach bunnies which was a first but very entertaining. The house itself is beautiful and well prepared for guests. Very clean and serene. If we ever drop by Delaware again we will be sure to stay here.

Property was clean and was supplied with what we needed. View is beautiful and we were able to walk right onto the beach. Owner was very communicable, kind and helpful. We will return.

Quiet and relaxing

Cozy home, located right where ocean enters bay. Every year the Bouy house has been clean and offers many amenities. Evening fires on the beach are so relaxing. Very responsive host. Be aware that this is in a nature preserve, and all that comes with it.

Great Relaxing Family Vacation

We can’t say enough about the buoy house. First of all the host is super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The house is updated with a great open concept. The views are AMAZING!! Whether relaxing on the deck, porch or on the beach, the views and the vibes are wonderful. The beach was great and the ocean was calm in the bay. Very private , quiet and relaxing experience. A short ride to Lewes and Rehoboth if you are looking to venture out but for a relaxing secluded spot this is the place. We will definitely be back again!

Great house and very quiet area.

Right on the beach, the house has all the basics covered and then some. Beautiful view, beds and bedrooms are comfortable, extras like board games and lots of outdoor fun stuff (kites, kayaks, beach toys, etc.). Check in/check out, and communication with the host were all smooth.

Location Location

Lovey, comfortable house for a single family with multiple kids or two small families, but by far the best feature is the location. The ocean is literally the backyard, and it is a gorgeous, family friendly beach. No crowds, small waves, and tons of toys and beach accessories provided. Because the house is so close to the beach, we were able to spend lots of time on the beach while still easily tending to the needs of our small children. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

Beachfront perfection at the Buoy House!

This was our second stay at the Buoy House. This property set a high standard during our first stay last year, and this year somehow raised the bar even higher. "Perfect" is not a word I throw around lightly, and this house really is the ideal beach getaway for our family of three and could easily (and comfortably!) accommodate a few more folks. House is immaculately clean and perfectly appointed so we could cook some meals at home and close enough to restaurants so we could enjoy some time out as well. And it truly is steps from the beach...we enjoyed lovely weather this year, so we really made good use of that beach time. (and even if Mother Nature had other plans, there is a closet full of board games, which we enjoyed thoroughly during our evenings!) The owners told us they were fully stocked with beach toys and they weren't kidding...there was everything there we could possibly want and things I wouldn't have even thought to bring! And beyond building sand castles, there is plenty of wildlife to enjoy. We loved exploring the tidal pools during low tide and even spotted a pod of dolphins right from the back deck! If you're looking for a peaceful, family-friendly beachfront experience, you will not be disappointed here! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Dorothy and I absolutely love Prime Hook! It is a beautiful place to relax and we love the beach.
We love the peace and quiet and the feeling of privacy you get as you drive across the wildlife refuge towards the beach. Its great that shopping and excellent restaurants are only 15-20 minutes away .
