Énergie incroyable dans ce chalet en bord de mer avec un plan d'étage ouvert lumineux - ponts supérieurs et inférieurs et véranda grillagée. Seahorse Cottage, ou "The Horse" pour nous, comprend des planchers de bois franc brillant, des fenêtres lumineuses et une cuisine moderne pour vos vacances. Levers et couchers de soleil incroyables surplombant la baie du Delaware et la réserve nationale de faune de Primehook. Pagayez sur les eaux calmes, faites du kayak ou du canoë sur la ligne de rivage ou faites du vélo à travers les zones humides protégées pour le vrai spectacle.

Les plages de la baie sont pour ceux qui recherchent des côtes tranquilles privées et une connexion avec la nature. Vous trouverez notre chalet, propre, bien entretenu et bien aménagé.

Perfect cottage! Clean, nicely stocked with essentials, and right on the beach. The dogs appreciated the fenced yard. Flies were biting so be sure to take bug spray. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home!

Little family trip

This location was absolutely perfect for our little family of three (including our baby under 2) plus our two dogs. The fenced in yard eliminated all the stress of vacationing with pets. Other than some quick baby proofing and moving a few fragile things around the house, it was perfect for the baby as well. We were so thankful to have a full house with comfortable living space when we unfortunately had rain for 1 full day. Even though we were stuck inside, everyone was happy to relax and enjoy the view. We would most definitely stay here again. You can’t beat the quiet private beach area.

Great beach house . Terrific location and has all you need . Great fenced in yard for the dogs . We had a great time . The only complaint some of my family had is the beds were not comfortable.

Great place for a family escape

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Horse. Perfect size for our family of four, steps to the beach, and 30-40 minutes from the Rehoboth boardwalk. Over the two weeks we were there, we enjoyed a good balance of the peaceful, private beach and the action packed beach in Rehoboth. We had a hard time leaving and will definitely consider returning.

Great place for relaxing vacation!

We have always loved our time spent here - it’s such a great place where we can bring our black lab Bella with us! In the summer when we stay, we love the extra outdoor shower and have used it daily! The extra 1/2 bathroom in the one bedroom is great as well. We already booked for Sept again!

Prime hook vacation

We love the house on Prime Hook and the beach is so nice to walk on. The wild birds are fun to watch. May is a good time to visit before the crowds come to the beach.

Lovely beach house, but beware the flies!

This is a lovely beach house. The neighborhood is very tranquil- a great place to get away from it all. We loved the proximity to the beach and the fenced in area for our dogs. It's all so nice, BUT we really were not able to enjoy our stay or use the beach much at all because the flies were just too vicious. I understand that the hosts have no control over this, but this problem really interfered with our week. I wish we had had some warning that flies are a problem this time of year. Despite our best efforts, they kept getting in the house and it was really frustrating trying to keep them off food, and off of us. I would love to stay again at a different time of year when maybe the flies would not be as much of a problem.

We were lucky enough to observe a fair number of early horseshoe crabs on the beach.

Well appointed home great location to access all of Sussex county. Enjoyed The Backyard restaurant for breakfast several times. Thank you!

2024 Delaware visit

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the rental and love the location. We are are also very glad we can have our Boston Terrier with us. This time the house could have used a better pre visit dusting and cleaning.

Great Rental

House was perfect for 2 couples, a child and our dog. Nice gated area and back porch area. We loved that the floors were all hardwood, made cleaning up sand a breeze! Our daughter took a shower in the outdoor shower every day, she loved it! Would definitely come back and stay here again.

Perfect Summer Beach Get-a-way

The house is upgraded and clean. The fenced in area was great for having brought our dog with us. Beds were comfortable, kitchen functional, and plenty of room to relax in the living room or on the rear deck. The gas outdoor grill was full of fuel and after a little cleaning around the igniter, the grill fired up with no issues. The best part is that you are steps from the private beach. The water was warm and the waves were calm —great for small children.

Great place to stay!

We had a fantastic time here! Wonderful, charming & clean beach home. Right on the beach. We saw the sun come up over the Bay and beautiful sunsets over the wildlife sanctuary. We loved the restaurants, boardwalk, shops etc. We took walks up and down the beach to hunt pretty stones, shells & check out the horseshoe crabs. I grew up coming down to this area and love sharing and creating new memories with my grandchildren. We all loved this beach house and the fact that we can bring the dogs along means everything. I was able to schedule the exact days that I wanted. Very easy scheduling and transactions thru Verbo. Terry was a great, accommodating host!

Great Place to stay

New deck was nice but could not really enjoy it because of the infestation of fly’s and mosquitoes this year. We also noticed dog hair on our socks. ( we did not bring a dog). All in all it was nice. Our Second time renting out this location. Thank You Terry😎

Beautiful

Phenomenal location. This was our first (and will not be our last) visit to the amazing Prime Hook location. All of the North Carolina beaches feel without the long drive. The beach is literally steps out the door. The dogs and the kid had a phenomenal time. No stress about massive waves or rip currents. Everything in the house was also nice. They really do a great job of up keeping the property. It was easy to find and easy to get to. We really liked the big open room feel and then bedrooms in the back. The house is stocked with pots, pans, silverware, and even foil and plastic wrap. We loved our stay and can’t wait to be back.

Quiet beautiful location

My husband and I booked this home as a last minute get away after learning our senior dog has cancer and wouldn’t be with us much longer. He always loved the water and sand so we wanted to take him away before he declined. The host was super quick to respond when I was having trouble with Vrbo booking and made everything super simple. The house was beautiful and clean and everything on one level was the best. It also had a fenced in area so we didn’t have to worry about leashing for potty breaks each time. The home is just steps from super private primehook beach. The waves were very gentle and our dogs loved playing in the water. We walked on the beach several times a day and barely saw anyone else at all. The home had all the kitchen necessities needed during our stay. We would love to come back again.
