Regardez le soleil et la lune se lever sur la baie du Delaware de cette retraite tranquille en bord de mer confortable. Ce chalet facile à vivre offre un endroit décontracté pour célébrer la vie, en particulier pour ceux qui voyagent avec leurs chiens.

Faites cuire vos plats préférés dans notre cuisine complète, déjà fourni avec épices et condiments, ou aller à un repas décadent dans l'un des restaurants gastronomiques de la région. La station balnéaire propose de nombreuses activités, du golf et des sports nautiques au théâtre et boutiques duty-free, le tout dans le lecteur de quelques minutes, mais cela est l'endroit où vous souhaitez appeler à la maison à la fin de la journée.

Profitez de la romance d'une soirée aux chandelles devant le poêle de fonte en hiver, un feu de joie sur votre plage privée en été si le vent est bon, ou juste un simple moment de solitude errant le long du bord de l'eau en toute saison. Vous retirer dans votre chambre à coucher (une reine, un lit double) et endormir avec le bruit des vagues se brisant la rive.

Il ya une salle de bain complète et, en été, une douche extérieure pour se rincer confortablement du sel et du sable. Vous pouvez également brancher un tuyau à raccord rapide pour rincer votre chiot à l'eau tiède.

Easy check in. Clean yet the couch was damp. Low tide is the best to be at the beach. Beautiful view!

Beautiful secluded location! Cozy cottage located on the Delaware Bay beach side. Location is close to Milton and there you will find everything you need - grocery, drug store, Family Dollar, restaurants, etc. Cottage was small but for our group of three - perfectly adequate. Be aware - the bathroom is tight, especially the toilet area, but the shower was more spacious and the water temperature hot and the water pressure was great! It felt wonderful after a day at the beach. The outdoor shower was also great and had hot water - a plus in my book. We've stayed on the Delaware bay many times (Slaughter, Broadkill, etc.) so were familiar with and prepared for the horseshoe crabs, occasional biting flies and bay water. We spent two days walking out the back and walking to the beach and floating in the bay (at high tide). The dogs loved it and I should mention it is a very dog friendly location. The fenced in yard is NOT adequate for larger dogs or dogs that like to investigate or are a bit mischievous. It is really only thin pickets with two thin wires holding everything together. We tethered our dogs after we realized the fence was not too sturdy. The outbuilding with a small enclosed porch was wonderful and we spent a few mornings and nights rocking and talking with a great view of the water. The gas grill worked great and we took advantage of it as well as the decently appointed kitchen. All in all I would definitely recommend this location!

We had a great time. We brought our 3 girls, {dogs} & they loved the beach, as we did. The house was great too. It was bigger than I thought. We are planning on staying here again.

Great first trip to this area, just me and the dogs, we all had a great time.

Loved the location very secluded, and peaceful, lots of wildlife. The dogs loved it! It was really nice to have the fenced area the porch was trebly nice with lots of windows that open. Loved being right on the beach with very short distance to walk to water.

Just what we needed...

Really cute, on the beach house. The dogs loved it, everything was so pet friendly and relaxed. The house was fully stocked and had everything we needed, we can't wait to go back. Thanks for a great New Year's Eve weekend.

Peaceful and beautiful

We enjoyed a very relaxing week with our dogs in this cozy beach cottage! Would definitely recommend. It’s not close to stores so plan a day to load up on your supplies but once you’re set you’re set!

Beach Peace

This was our third stay at this cozy little cottage on the bay. In addition to the usual things that we live about staying here, we were surprised and delighted by the throngs of migrating snow geese who hung out on ‘our’ beach, both fascinating and beautiful!

Great dig friendly cottage on the beach

The house was adorable, bigger than I thought it would be! Very comfortable for 4 people and dogs. The bathroom is small but no biggie. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus although the gates are a little jankity. Overall it was great and we would definitely stay there again..so peaceful!

We had a very comfortable and low keyed stay. The bathroom floor plan is quite awkward and would not suit a large framed person. The dogs enjoyed their walks on the bay, especially when it was low tide.

Amazing, hope to come back!

This place was perfect! So comfortable and very dog friendly. Lots of extra leashes, water bowls, and toys for the dogs. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of kitchen utensils and pots for cooking. Beautiful porch with view of the ocean, and such a short walk to the amazing beach. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Delaware Bay Beach House Review

Loved the property, the location and access to the beach, the kitchen set up and view from the porch. Beds were very comfortable. The place wasn't dirty, but there were many cobwebs and daddy long leg spiders in the bathroom and it appeared that the place was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. We did book the place on short notice. Property managers were helpful in resolving some check in issues which was appreciated. The bathroom is one negative - it's very tight spacewise. Overall a very nice stay. Enjoyed the nice Weber BBQ too!

Great getaway location

The house has a great location on private access beach. Dog friendly to the max. Quite neighborhood that had all family vacationers with pets as well. This is a great spot for a relaxing trip. We were able to leave our beach items out while we took a break for lunch or a rest from the sun. The water is calm and great for smaller kids with lesser swimming skills. We brought the dog to the beach many times and she had a great time as well.

Fantastic beach cottage!! Perfect if your traveling with dogs. We had the best time walking the beach with the dogs and relaxing. We cooked we drank went to breweries and wandered. The residents of Prime Hook are the nicest people around. We left looking for places to set up shop. Thank you for sharing your lovely beach house with us!

Wonderful time and well taken care of at Primehook Beach!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Primehook Beach! The beach house was clean, in great condition and stocked with essentials. The location is great, right on the beach and with the little single road to walk on. We REALLY appreciated how dog friendly the owner and the community is too. It allows us to travel once a year with our whole family. I just simply can not say enough positive things about this house, the owner and the people at the property management company. They were all concerned for our well being and enjoyment, and we really appreciated it! They helped to make our vacation and success. We intend to return again and to this exact house! Thank you!

Quite relaxing vacation

This cottage was plenty large enough for my wife and I, plus our 5 y/o son and dog. 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen, living room was large enough, but the furniture was a bit beat. The beach is right outside your door. Access could not be better. The beach does get covered with sea weed and dead horseshoe crabs. This attracts black flies and mosquitoes. It can be quite annoying. The flies were all through your house and they will take over your vehicle if you leave the windows down. On the beach, the flies/mosquitoes were really only a nuisance in the evening. During our stay it rained nonstop for two days. This caused the beach/water to be filled with sediment which added another attractant for flies and mosquitoes. Also the heavy rain caused the septic to slightly overflow into the yard leaving a foul odor. However, this occurred Friday evening and really did not impact our stay. The overall location is nice for privacy but it is a good 20-30 minutes to entertainment/ dining. For the price, access to beach, and a dog friendly house with a fenced in yard, it was worth the trip. I will likely comeback to this location in the off season when the bugs are less of an issue.

Extremely Disappointed!!

We've rented many homes over the years & it was beyond gross inside this house! As soon as you go in, there is an overwhelming stench of urine (smells like male cat spray!). The house was not clean - dead flies & dirt on windowsills, air conditioning return vent never cleaned, blinds dirty & falling off, mattresses & box springs are well beyond their time & need replaced (along w/pillows), way too many kitschy "decorations" that are old & outdated, collecting dirt & dust. Interior doors are split, peeling & in disrepair. Both entry doors need replaced-screen door in back has Band-Aids on torn screen & the overhang over the beach access door interferes w/opening the door. Windows on porch are broken & room was unusable because of being water soaked & dirty - used it to store beach accessories only, never ate a meal or played games as we intended. Bathroom is the worst we have EVER seen! Shower curtain liner is supposed to be white, but the bottom is orange from filth! The toilet is only 8" from corner of shower & almost impossible to get to. The bar of towel racks are covered with blue painter's tape because they are so worn!! Who does that?? Multiple light bulbs are out, switches don't work, floor is sinking in living room and sofa & side chairs all need replaced. We brought sheets to cover the furniture to help with dog hair & they ended up protecting us from the gross furniture!! We had a problem with the septic upon arrival-the whole backyard smelled like raw sewage - my husband corrected it. We communicated issues to the property management company the day we arrived. Floors were tacky & unclean-we wouldn't walk around w/out shoes on! Daughter was to bring a friend, realized it was a blessing her friend couldn't make it! Would've been mortified for anyone else to see this place. House is in great location and the area is great & the dog-friendliness is wonderful. Will NOT rerent w/o repairs and a very deep cleaning!! BEWARE!! What a shame....

what a great getaway not far from home and pet friendly

loved from beginning to the end.... perfect.... clean.... sun rises amazing! quiet but very friendly....my furries loved the fenced yard... mostly..my elder blind and deaf one....3. will book again! and interior decorations...so loved!

When the wind is right, you can have a bonfire or just lay back and watch as the stars come out. You can take sleeping bags out to spend the night watching the mid-August sky for shooting stars or enjoy watching (from the shelter of the porch) the occasional summer thunderstorm sweep across the bay, the rain dancing on the tin roof.
