Profitez du calme et de la tranquillité que notre petite plage a à offrir! Prime Hook Beach est sur la baie du Delaware située au large de la rue. 1. Près des villes comme Rehoboth et Lewes, mais loin de la foule! La baie a une plage naturelle avec des vagues douces et une pente progressive. Parfait pour les enfants et les chiens! Notre maison est adossée à la réserve faunique avec accès à la plage juste en face de la rue résidentielle.
Notre maison est 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes avec un plan d'étage ouvert et vue sur l'eau de chaque fenêtre. Deux chambres avec lits queen size, une chambre avec lits superposés et un grand canapé-lit. 8 personnes. Apportez votre chien! Les animaux de notre maison et de la plage sont bienvenus (veillez à bien nettoyer après votre animal à la maison et à la plage).
Profitez des magnifiques couchers de soleil sur notre grande terrasse arrière ou des levers de soleil dans la salle de soleil à l'avant. Venez découvrir toute la quiétude de notre maison!

Peaceful Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. There are beautiful views of the national wildlife refuge, and sunsets over it, from the back deck. Then a one minute walk over to the beach for the sunrises over the bay. The owners were also very friendly and responsive to any questions or issues we had. We would definately love to rent this home again, when we take another vacation down to Deleware!

Our family loved our stay at this property! It was so nice to enjoy the beach without massive crowds. The location is surrounded with natural beauty and you're really *in* nature. The bay waves were very calm and not intimidating for our young kids. It was an easy drive over to Lewes when we wanted to get out/find some more stuff to do. Christine was a great host- very responsive and helpful. Thank you! We can't wait to come back.

Cozy beach house

Wonderful and practical, this space was perfect for us. Nice open layout and great view of the wildlife refuge from 2 bedrooms; you can also see DE Bay from the front of the house. Beautiful sunsets, easy walk to the beach and very quiet this time of year (Dec).

Gorgeous View

My parents and I came to Delaware to visit my son at the Airforce Base. We enjoyed our stay! The sunsets from the deck were beautiful. The beach was a short walk right across the street. The sand is soft and full of treasures. The cattage was just as advertised. Fully stocked with everything you could need. They supply outdoor toys as well! We would stay again!

Christmas getaway

Our family spent 2 christmas's here after my father passed and we needed a new tradition. The layout is perfect for a small family. Everything is on one level. The views out the back - spectacular sunsets. Quick walk to the beach to see the snow geese and a brisk walk. We've had to move on to a larger home with more bedrooms, otherwise, we'd still be booking here. The host provides excellent amenities and a stocked pantry (helpful for quick stays) and linens. Host goes above and beyond - my mom left her iPod there one year and we asked them to keep a lookout for it...months later they found it and mailed it back to us.

Perfect for families!

Do not hesitate to book a stay here! We traveled without 4 kids (ages 5-12) and had a wonderful stay. The location is beautiful- the kids loved watching the birds on the back deck. We had the beach to ourselves (just a short walk across the street). It’s a quiet neighborhood without traffic so we felt comfortable with our kids walking back and forth to the beach alone. The house has everything you could possibly need. Our youngest enjoyed the toys and the older kids enjoyed the bunks and the games. Not having an oven was not an issue even with our large family. They have a large convection oven and we used the grill. The location can’t be beat for families- a quiet, safe beach but close enough to other activities if you get tired of the beach. We hope to visit again soon! Thank you to the hosts for sharing your home!

Perfect getaway spot

The house was even better than advertised. Perfect location with bay views and a beach across the street where my dog continued to live his best life. Short drive to stores, restaurants, and activities away from the beach but you could just bring all your supplies and stay at the house for the entire stay.

Great place for a getaway

Great place for a quick getaway or a long stay. The house had all the supplies we needed. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. We loved being so close to the nature preserve and the beach. It was quiet with the sounds of nature being the only noise. We will absolutely be going back

Perfect beach getaway

Absolutely everything was perfect! Super cozy beach house in the perfect location only steps away from the beach. We enjoyed sunrises on the beach, sunsets and birdwatching on the deck, and everything in between. We loved that the house was stocked with everything you could possible need and we especially appreciated that it was dog friendly!

Best DE beach experience

My family has been going to the DE beaches every year for 6 years now. We have been to various beaches and stayed in very nice VRBO properties. But everyone agrees that this is by far the best experience we have had! I would highly recommend this property to everyone, including families with young children or a romantic retreat for a couple.

Great location with spectacular views

My family, my fur baby and I had a wonderful and relaxing trip. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with access to a private beach. The beach was lovely and did not disappoint in any way. The views from the back deck were a sight to behold. The home had everything we needed, and the owner, Christine, was very responsive and helpful. The home was just as described and highly recommended.

Beatiful ocean views one minute from the ocean

Exactly the unplugged vacation we needed. House was clean, well furnished, well stocked with basic supplies, and in an absolutely beautiful location just across the street from a private beach. Ocean was visible from the living room with great views of sunsets over the saltwater marsh behind the home. Relatively short drives to local hot spots and downtown areas.

Wild and Wonderful

We happened to stay at the beach house during a wind and flood advisory, and we still loved it. We can't wait to go back. It was a beautiful and peaceful off-season retreat. The beaches and wildlife sanctuary make this a particular spot for wildlife lovers, but beautiful restaurants are just a drive away. I appreciate that the owners have bikes and kayaks available and that our fur babies were welcome! This is a GEM!!

Very Comfortable Home!

Our first trip to Prime Hook in the Fall and first time renting this house. It was exactly as described online which is always a relief! Prime Hook is spectacular in the Fall. The house has beautiful views in the back over the Marsh and the Preserve. The stars were just spectacular at night. A bonus is that you also have a pretty good view of the Delaware Bay out the front especially off the little deck on side of house. It's very well appointed and decorated. Christine, the owner, is extremely responsive to any questions and issues. All in all a very good experience!

Peaceful retreat

This is an excellent home for a family getaway! I highly recommend it!! The surroundings are serene, with amazing views of nature in the wildlife refuge on one side and the bay on the other. We had everything we needed in this cozy, updated home. There were ample towels, kitchen and bathroom supplies, and cleaning and laundry supplies. Our family has 3 teenagers and we comfortably fit in the spacious bedrooms. They especially enjoyed using the new kayaks!!

Hi! We're Christine and Nick Fleming! We live in Northern Virginia with our three young children and our two dogs. Christine left her teaching job in 2017 to stay home to raise our children and handle our rentals and Nick is an Engineer. We feel so lucky to be able to share our home with all of you and thank you all for the support!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Location, location, location! We had never heard of Prime Hook before finding this home, but could not pass up the views and seclusion! Our children and dogs are able to run around on the beach and play in the water without fighting crowds. The short one minute walk to the beach is perfect to bring supplies back and forth. The sunsets from the back deck are spectacular and we've spent so much time making the inside of our home warm and inviting! We want you to feel like you are home from the moment you step in the door and hope you leave looking forward to your next trip back!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The view from the back of the house cannot be beat! We have some of the best sunsets and right across from the beach access. Our beach is a private, bay beach so you’ll never have to fight for a spot. Our bay beach is natural so you will find many great shells and has no waves! Perfect place to swim or take the kayak out.
