The property was very well kept, honestly it was the nicest managed property I have ever stayed in. House was as advertised and as expected but filled with everything you could think of needing (ie: cleaning items, dishware, utensils, first aid kit, fresh toothbrushes, etc, etc). Very nicely managed property. I would easily stay at the hosts properties in the future vs. other properties if I am in the area again.
Great location. Old neighborhood and old house but it was nice for a good deal, wouldnât stay more than a week. They provided new pillows for us. Needs a new couch. Has everything you need for a small family. Great communication with property management.
The home was convenient to the places we needed to see. I would probably look at other homes close to this neighborhood next time we have to go here. I was a bit disappointed in 4-5 different things concerning this home but not interested in sharing them.
Not meant for long stays - BIG and little problems
If you are planning to stay for a weekend, then this is your place! However, it is not meant for a long stay, and we stayed for 2 months.
First couple things we noticed: the house was dirty when we got there (including animal hair and the floor turned our feet black while walking in the house), the beds were uncomfortable, and I can honestly say I've never seen water pressure that bad before.
After a few weeks we had a big problem: the AC broke. Once I notified the company they sent someone to check it that day. That person informed them that it needed replaced. The company then decided not to fix it but instead to get a second opinion...that second opinion didn't come until 2 days later. IT WAS MISERABLE! It was over 90 degrees inside. We continued to call and ask to get moved or get it fixed day after day. Finally, once I threatened to bring in my lawyers, they became very co-operative. They remedied the situation within 7 days and finally got us out of the house to stay at a hotel. They refunded us for the hotel but they also promised to reimburse us 40% for the days we were in the house without AC, but we never got that money.
After the AC was fixed we didn't have any further problems or interactions with the company. If the AC problem hadn't happened then we would have rated our experience higher, however that whole interaction with the company was a horrible experience. But, now that the AC is fixed, I don't think it would be a bad stay for a short trip.
I stayed at this location in between selling my home and closing on a new home. It has all the amenities one needs, the manager was very responsive, the neighborhood is quiet, itâs in close proximity to stores and major roads.
The management company is a joy to work with and is available basically 24/7 with ease of text or call. The house was just as described, super clean, and the arrival goody bag of new essentials (laundry pods, tissues, salt/pepper, soap, etc) was an added bonus. The neighborhood is super nice, safe and super convenient to get to places. Would recommend staying here or any of Newmanâs properties.
