Condo is definitely out dated, several things need updated including dining table and tvs and kitchen. Beautiful view. To get in had to meet with the guy who manages it and i walked up to him and his wife when i got there and said his name and got ignored so then i called when he walked out the door and he came back in. Beach is very touristy and lots of garbage
The apartment is spacious and has a lovely new countertop and sink in the kitchen. Lots of thoughtful touches - beach chairs, cooler box - in the closet. The sea view and chairs on the balcony were a great feature. The towels and sheets do need updating and there are limited cutlery and cooking utensils.I didnât quite understand the electric door lock at first and Iâm glad Marcello showed up early the next morning to explain and hand over the manual key. The Tides is a lovely facility although we were visiting at a quieter time of year. Everyone we met was very friendly - guests and staff. J
My main concern was that the check-in time was listed as 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Our flight to FLL was scheduled to land at 4:05 pm. Good communications with the owner calmed my worries about a flight delay causing cneck-in problems. The property manager contacted me before the trip to give some instructions which were very detailed. I called him when it turned out that we would be delayed and he set it up so we could get in and do the official check-in the next morning. It was a non event. The property is very nice with a nice pool area and nice beach. I would stay there again.
We had a great stay! I will say, furnishings are a little dated and not an over abundance of things such as blankets (we ended up buying one for the pull out sofa), BUT, the building itself was excellent, the location was perfect, and the pool was just the very best. A spectacular family vacation!
The condo is on the beach. After exiting the resort and walking around the pool, you are on a beautiful, lifeguarded beach. The resort's check in process is laborious. The staff ranges from welcoming to indifferent to irritated. There is a delightful coffee shop in the twin building next door. The condo's patio has a lovely view of the ocean. The condo is drab and in need of a renovation. It is somewhat dirty, and requires a deep cleaning. The host refused to pay even once for the cleaning service to come during my 3 month stay from December until March. The heat didn't function.VRBO instructions are not to list a Service Animal as a pet, but the host repeatedly ignored my explaining VRBO's policy and federal law guaranteeing my well trained and behaved 9-year-old Service Dog accompanying me. The host's repeated harassment ended when he was forwarded my Service Animal's registration. My Service Dog and I have been invited to return by all of our previous hosts.
My experience was a walk in the park. Everyone was polite, helpful and very professional. Customer was a 10/10! The condo was clean. Check-in was a beeeze. Recommendations are 10/10. The host was awesome!
we were expecting more facilities in the kitcken: cookingware, aluminum foil, salt and pepper, placemats/doily. We like to cook instead of going out for dinner and we didn't have many cookingware for the oven. The beach chairs were unusables. This was our 4th time renting VRBO and it was not corresponding to what we came to espect.
We enjoyed our stay! Check in was complicated; if you don't get there before 5:00 pm, you can't do a normal check in and have to come down the next morning and stand in line. The condo was nice, basic cleaning was great, it needs some deep cleaning (vents, etc) and the sheets need to be replaced. But the location was perfect, and being on the 12th floor with a balcony kept it very cool and breezy. Easy beach access was a plus.
The property location and communication was great! There were minor decor and cleaning improvements needed. Also, I wish the description would have listed parking for the week is $75.00 (or $40/overnight, so paying the week was better) and the condo charges $30.00 for a key fob that must be used to enter any part of the building. Even with the unexpected costs, overall, we would definitely stay here again, very nice place!
Decorating was garage sale quality. Reservation was for a week. One roll of paper towels, toilet paper. One set of sheets. Broken dining room chair. For the cost I think the manager could do better.
The property was decent. I was told we were in walking distance to shops and restaurants, but I did not find that to be true. You have to drive to most things, and traffic was heavy.
However, beach access was very easy!
Lovely place!!! Perfect location for us. Place has awesome view of ocean. Nelson, management team, and the Tides management all very responsive and caring in all respects.
Walmart grocery store convenient and within walking distance and new Publix grocery store opening soon. Boardwalk easy to get to turn right on Iris Terrace, go one block turn left and keep walking and tons of restaurants there! Great way to get your daily steps in!!!
Clean, quiet, spacious condo with everything we needed in the unit. Beautiful ocean view and wonderful beach that was easy to access. Liked it so much weâve booked another stay later this year.
