Welcome to Bella Vita, a peaceful lakefront retreat where water, sky, and stars come together. Wake to breathtaking Lake Ontario views right from bed and fall asleep to the gentle rhythm of the waves.

This modern one-bedroom home sits directly on the shoreline, bringing the beauty of the lake into every moment of your stay — from glowing sunrise reflections to deep blue afternoon waters and clear, star-filled nights. On special evenings, you may even catch a glimpse of the aurora borealis dancing softly over the lake.

The spacious lakeside deck is perfect for outdoor lounging and dining, with plenty of room to relax and take in the view.

Inside, the bright open-concept main level features heated floors, a comfortable living area, a full bathroom, and a queen-size pull-out sofa. The gourmet kitchen includes double ovens, a gas cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator — ideal for preparing meals during your stay.

Fall Week on the Lake.

The house is as beautiful as the pictures. Fabulous views of the lake from upstairs and downstairs. Cook’s kitchen and nice wood burning fireplace. Would definitely stay here again. Very responsive to questions.

From the moment we arrived, 44 Lakeside truly felt like home. The house was comfortable, well cared for, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and relax right away. The views were absolutely stunning and were the highlight of our stay — whether enjoying a quiet morning or winding down at the end of the day, the lake setting was peaceful and unforgettable. The space itself was clean, inviting, and laid out in a way that worked perfectly for relaxing and spending time together. Everything we needed was readily available, and the overall atmosphere struck the perfect balance between cozy and elevated. It’s the kind of place you immediately start thinking about returning to. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside retreat.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The location on the lake provided us with stunning views from inside the house as well as from the deck. Each morning we enjoyed watching the sun rise over the water from the comfort of our bedroom. The modern kitchen came in handy as we cooked a lot of meals rather than going out to eat. The upstairs bathroom is huge and has a jacuzzi, although we did not use it during our stay. We spent most of our time relaxing but also enjoyed visiting a few museums in Rochester and taking a cruise on the Erie Canal. The location of the house makes it very easy to get around. The only thing that was disappointing is that there was no umbrella or table on the deck. We knew in advance that they had been removed, but having an umbrella to provide shade and a table to place food and drinks on would have really been nice.

The property sits on a nice corner near the edge of the lake. There was no umbrella or shade cover over the back deck and the weather was warm, sunny and beautiful and this would have made it perfect. The amenities listed a fire pit and the picture showed chairs around the front deck (that deck was still empty). That being said there were chairs on the back deck, which provided a relaxed view of the morning sunrise, while sipping on coffee. Evenings were wonderful, as well with snacks and beverages. A second bedroom, rather than an uncomfortable pull-out would make this the perfect place! I emailed a couple minor things, for the owner's awareness and got an immediate response. Overall, we enjoyed it very much! Great kitchen!!

House NOT as listed and shown

There are NOT two bedrooms. I wouldn’t have rented it without a second room. The two chairs in the living area are little. A bigger person can not comfortably sit. The kitchen is woefully understocked. There were only two steak knives. Nothing bigger. NO Instructions for using the television or the air conditioning. My family and I have stayed at several rentals before. This is NOT an ACCURATE listing for this property.

Reason for low score is the listing is misleading, THIS IS NOT A 2 BEDROOM - DOES NOT SLEEP 5. Owner has been told before that the listing misrepresents this. I didn't see the last review warning of this until I had already paid in full, this disrupted the primary reason for the visit which was a family reunion where 4 other family members were going to stay with me and at the last minute I had to make other arrangements for them and I had to stay in the house alone. I need to get your attention that you cannot list this as a two bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room does not constitute a 2nd bedroom and fifth person is not a blowup mattress rolled up in a closet. You have to understand that when people make these plans it's important that your information is accurate.As for details I do want to say that the management company was responsive to several problems that came up and they were quick to respond and try to resolve those problems. I found the garbage can and recycle bins overflowing from the last rental when I got there, major yellow jacket bees around the deck and three of my guests were stung at the family event on Sat, lightbulbs were missing in a front bathroom, staff came in and changed the bulbs but never rang the doorbell or knocked, so there was a lack of respect for privacy. If you correct the listing to be more honest, I would say the property is charming and in a nice cozy neighborhood.
