Beautiful house

Lovely Lake View

This is a cute house on the lake with direct lake access and great outdoor space including upper and lower decks, screened in porch, and fire pit). It is close to the road so there is quite a bit of noise from traffic when outside.

Family weekend

We loved this property. The house was clean and spacious. Just right for our family of 5 plus a dog. Loved the decks and view. It was conveniently located. We would definitely consider booking this property again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great Thanksgiving Trip to Lake Norman

We had a great Thanksgiving visit to lake Norman with family. The property was well kept and well stocked. There was plenty of room for family to gather and to spread out, especially the extra room downstairs with TV and the fridge was amazing. It's always a plus when you have more than one refrigerator in a rental house, especially with family. We didn't necessarily need it this time, but it came in very handy since we were prepping food for Thanksgiving. Outdoor spaces were fantastic as well as the hot tub. Plenty of fresh towels and a nice washer and dryer. We would definitely recommend this to others..

The home was so spacious and had everything we needed. Only negative I would say is the master shower water pressure. Hot tub was great, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room! Will for sure go back!

Relaxing Getaway

What a great place! It has plenty of room for lots of guests - cozy corners to relax in, but also has great common areas for everyone to enjoy time together. Sharon, the owner, is very responsive and helpful, and has clearly put a lot of love into this place. Highly recommended!!

Life long friends weekend

Four of us had friends weekend. The house everything that was advertised. Great location. Close to grocery store, fuel on the water. House was well stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Plenty of towels and hot water showers. Screened in porch was great for morning coffee.

Grade school friends 50th bday get together

Stayed with 3 other couples for a weekend trip to surprise our friend for his birthday (he lives nearby) the house was very clean. It had more than enough ancillary things for use that came in handy. The hot tub was an added treat. I picked this house and the only gripes were the water in the canal wasn't a usable as most had hoped. We thought we would just be able to float in the area but you can't really do that or want to do that in the cove. The other issue was we drew names for which couple got the good bedrooms without the twin beds. Of course i planned the trip and got the last pick 🙄 The house was really great and the host was equally amazing.

50th Birthday with Family

Your home is very beautiful!. It was comfortable and spacious. My family enjoyed themselves and we did as well. Everyone felt very relaxed there. The colors when you walk in are inviting and you feel at home right at the entrance. Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home. My family and I had a great time. It was a wonderful feeling, thanks again! We would love to come back again this time of year if not before if you allow us the opportunity to.

Convenient and comfortable stay at the lake!

Great accommodations for our group of 10 at the lake. Sleeps 10 comfortably. Our group was five couples in our mid 30s, and each pair had a room. Even the downstairs "extra sleeping area" is a nice separate space with a door and its own bathroom. The check in process was easy, and you can't beat the convenience of a lakefront property for a lake trip!

Lake Weekend

Really enjoyed the house! Great location and communication with hosts! Would definitely recommend to friends and family. A few drawbacks that did not take away from the experience but should be noted are: 1) beds definitely aren’t the biggest (we knew this coming in) so for a group of taller adults it may be a bit tight, especially when it’s the full 10 people. 2) Owner’s boat is parked at the dock, which effectively eliminates easy access onto and off the dock at the house. Something to note and I feel like should be advertised more clearly if people are looking for waterfront homes for boat-centered trips! Still, overall a great weekend!

Great family getaway

My family of 10 loved this beautiful home on Lake Norman. Plenty of space to spread out, plenty of room in the driveway for all 4 cars as well. We loved that this side of the lake is less congested than other areas.

Spring Break Getaway

We took a trip over spring break and had a great time. The fire pit and hot tub were a hit with the young ones. The view and deck were a hit with the adults.

Great house…But…

First, the house is beautiful. It is clean and well maintained and has everything you possibly need. The bed was comfy and it was a great place to relax; however, this is the first time I’ve stayed somewhere and felt that I couldn’t be completely positive in my review. I felt that the pictures of the lake and the property were taken from an angle that made it a bit deceptive. The lake view in the picture was taken from the deck looking out past the other houses. The view from the house itself is not what is shown in the pictures. The property is on a canal-at the end of the canal. What you see when you look out is a high embankment that is on a very busy main road. It is not the incredible view from the first picture of the listing. I looked at the other reviews and saw that they were good, I just wish I had read that the house was on a busy road and had no real lake view. The noise from the road made it difficult to enjoy time outside because we had trouble hearing each other over the noise. We also booked this rental because of the hot tub; however, we could never get the temperature above 74 degrees and it was quite cold. Overall we had a good stay but we were a little bit disappointed.

Weekend Get-Away

The home is very lovely and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot-tub. The back deck is situated in view of a busy road which during the winter months has no tree foilage to block sight or sound. During the summer this might not be an issue. Overall, everything was quite pleasant.

Spacious and clean

This is a very nice property that’s been well maintained. There was plenty of room to spread out. It’s adjacent to a busy road, which would be camouflaged more with foliage in the spring/summer. You can't enjoy a walk from the house, but there’s an impressive new county park with trails, views, picnic areas just a few miles away.

Homey, comfortable, lakeside retreat

Our stay at this comfortable retreat was perfect. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the house is updated. The views from the deck are good, and there is a nice firepit available. The only slight downside is water access, which is limited due to boats taking up available space.
