Cette belle maison du lac est un favori de la famille depuis de nombreuses annĂ©es. Cherokee a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ© et mis Ă  jour pour une sensation de maison de lac moderne et parfaite. Cette maison va dormir 12 confortablement. Il dispose de 3 chambres Ă  coucher, mezzanine et canapĂ© convertible au sous-sol, salle de jeux, 3 salles de bain complïżœïżœtes, 2 salles de bain et demi, grand plan d'Ă©tage ouvert, plafond voĂ»tĂ©. Cherokee a une trĂšs belle grande cuisine lumineuse, beaucoup d’espace de travail et tous les Ă©quipements dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner. Il y a un Keurig, alors apportez vos saveurs prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©es. La maison dispose Ă©galement d'une belle salle Ă  manger / salon lumineux avec tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat au deuxiĂšme niveau, tĂ©lĂ©vision par cĂąble, DVD, cheminĂ©e Ă  bois confortable pour profiter des mois d'hiver, des ponts pour profiter du magnifique lever du soleil ou vous as le ciel Ă©toilĂ©. Autres commoditĂ©s: barbecue au gaz, joli bain Ă  remous couvert et confortable, sous-sol amĂ©nagĂ© avec table de ping-pong et jeux de sociĂ©tĂ©. Il y a une belle vue sur Eagle Creek et un joli anneau de feu pour les petits feux de camp pour que votre famille s’mores. Il n'y a pas de parking pour bateaux dans cet Ă©tablissement. À quelques minutes de l'ouragan Marina (appelez la marina pour la location de bordereaux de bateau), du Centre d'artisanat des Appalaches, Canoe the Caney Adventures et I-40. Les animaux domestiques doivent ĂȘtre approuvĂ©s par notre direction de chalet et ne doivent pas dĂ©passer 20 livres. There are four floors to this property. You enter the property from the driveway into the three bedroom floor with two full baths. The master has French doors opening to a full deck with chairs. A flight and half down from that is the games room where the washer and dryer are and access to the hot tub which is large and hot and relaxing. Two flights up from the bedroom floor is the living space. The living room has a great view with a wall of windows. The kitchen is nice with regular stove, fridge with ice maker, regular and Kerug coffee pots and a pantry. There are no food stuff in the Home so bring everything you need including foil and plastic wrap and storage bowls. There is enough cooking utensils and a nice gas grill outside the kitchen area. The living area has a half bath. Up one and a half flights is the loft with two twin over full beds and a full bath. The home is comfortable and a little rustic like. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Getaway for Family

The rental was great for our family of 6 plus grandma. Lots of space to spread out and plenty to entertain everyone. We had a great time!

Fishing tour

The property was perfect fro a group of kayak anglers visiting the area to fish the World Championships. Only a short drive from the lake made for easy launches and the house was perfect to relax in after a day on the water.

amazing get away

we live near nashville and work from home having the option to vacate our normal lives for a few days without driving far was a plus and then how beautiful it all was touched us all!! best break we have had in a while!!!

Lovely, Quiet Retreat

We had a lovely long weekend here. No problems at all! Lots of space for our family to come together from three different states. Lots of stairs but we loved all the deck space. Quiet and private with a lovely view of the lake and woods.

Meet in the middle vacation

House was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and clean. View was spectacular and we all had a great time. Parking was limited and there was no back yard for kids to play. But the house was large and the play room was fun for them. Over all we loved it!

Great men’s getaway weekend

We were just minutes from the marina where we rented a boat. Cabin is secluded back in the woods and kept the deck nice and cool all day.

Unable to utilize basement with the pool table and ping pong table, because of the broken window covered with a blanket and was too chilly to be in the room. Hot tub was I inviting and not used. Needed to be cleaned Size of the house was nice for our group

House was clean and ready to use. Some of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced from a rental!

Check in was a breeze and we had no issues with any of the process. House was very clean and super comfortable beds. The 4 levels of the home really makes it feel like you have more than 3 bedrooms! The basement and loft can be used as separate bedrooms. The water got really hot so be careful there! Be aware that the road the house is on is not boat friendly. Take your boat to the marina before heading to the house!

Beautiful Spot

We loved the cabin itself, beautiful with great amenities. Things I wish I had noted more carefully before arriving were that, although that it is close to the water, this is definitely not a waterfront property and you cannot expect to easily to access the lake. Also, the neighbors are all in very close proximity and we could easily see/hear others near us. Finally, the road to this property is very steep and windy. We drive a Dually truck and some of the switchbacks required 3 point turns.

It was off season so no one was around and it was so peaceful and quiet. The house was perfect, it was large for the 2 of us but that was just fine with us. There were a bunch of games to play, a pool table and hot tub which gave us some things to do. We would definitely book this home especially with other people to enjoy.

Weekend away

I only stayed one night because the door’s deadbolt to the master bedroom was not working. Only the knob would lock. There were also two pit bulls next door and the owner didn’t have them on leashes. I have a small dog and one of them started to run to us barking.

The house is setup perfect for a large group where some want to play cards all night and others want to actually get some sleep. The decks are expansive and we used them quite often even though it was 95 degrees+ each day. All the woods around the house keep things at least 10 degrees cooler then when we ventured out. Location is very convenient to both Smithville and major marinas. Highly recommended.

Reviewer Comments: We looked far and wide to find this house and it was as great as advertised. The kitchen is well supplied, the location is perfect, the woods gorgeous, the furniture comfortable and nice! Only disappointing features were the pool table and grill. The pool table, which was one special feature we wanted, has two serious ridges in the table where the slate has shifted. And the grill needs some maintenance and parts. We will stay again next year if we can be sure the pool table has been repaired.

Less than expected.

For being a premier host and highly rated for cleanliness, we were less than impressed. Mold on shower curtains... carpet needed cleaned... great views obscured by dirty windows... game room had no darts for dartboard and pool table had no bounce off of bumpers... most every wall and some ceilings need paint... called ahead of time and asked about road going in and felt mislead... had there been rain or snow some of inclines would not have been manageable without 4wd on the single lane road. Positives: Kitchen was best/newest room of house. Beds were comfortable. Views from decks were beautiful. Despite nearby houses, it was usually quiet and peaceful.

Nice Cabin but maintenance could be improved

Cabin was nice. Maintenance on this property could be improved. We reported several things that needed to fixed/maintenanced. They were not done during our stay. The maintenance man came over, but did not repair anything. The directions provided by the office got us completely lost. GPS finally got us there. The road was blocked by a downed tree. Called the office and they said they would contact the county. Since it was a holiday weekend, we had to chop up the tree and clear the road ourselves. Road is very narrow and winding to get up to the cabin.
