Best Downtown Anchorage Location - Two Bedroom Apartment
Best location in downtown Anchorage, where you can walk to all of the top restaurants and attractions. This first floor spacious and well appointed apartment has two bedrooms (one King and two Twins) with two full baths; featuring hand selected quality furnishings, bedding and all the important household items to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A true home away from home.
When we arrived we found parking, that was not a problem. We got through the front doors fine, but the code for the front door of the apartment was wrong on the message. So it took some time to figure it out. There was a room with two twin beds(we knew this when renting), but they felt particularly small and each bed had one very small flat pillow. The wifi was moving at a snail pace. We might as well not use it all. We did go to Target and buy a chord to connect to our laptops to be able to stream. The host was accommodating with that and did attempt to fix it. But, in 2025 you can get more than one router for a rental building... you would think. The couch blocked the outside patio, which was very odd. Although, it was just a dirt patch with no chairs to sit in even if you wanted to.There was one roll of toilet paper left for a family of 4 staying for 3 nights. We had to buy more. There were several things in the apartment that need either replacing or fixing. The closet door came off as soon we opened it. Several of the blinds were either missing, or broke. The apartment is definitely due for an update. However, it was clean. We have stayed in many Airbnbs and for the price of this one, it was a disappointment.
Very well stocked, we were able to make meals in the kitchen. The couch and beds are both very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet. I like the convenience of the key pad entry.
Next time our family is in town we will check it out.
Property had good security, was very clean and comfortable. Having a kitchen where we could cook was a definite plus. When we arrived we asked for a couple of items and it was taken care of within minutes. Would definitely stay again when visiting Anchorage.
This is a very basic walkout basement apartment in an easy to get to location perfect for traveling with 2 teens. The apartment was clean, but not "remodeled", rather it has newish paint and carpet, but that is about what you expect with an apartment. Would absolutely stay again. My only complaint is only 1 bathroom had soap products, but that is so minor it doesn't really count as a negative.
Apartment was just ok. There was some dirt behind the sofa which was kinda gross. Was supposed to have a car tag to park in parking lot and it wasnât there when we arrived so had to call owner to get one. Also was supposed to have a laundry room key and didnât. Just did laundry at my sons house. Was provided with only 2 facial wash cloths and we were there 6 nights. Kept washing them out. Dishwasher hadnât been unloaded. No buggy just used dishes out of washer. Will definitely not stay here again.
Howard was very responsive when we needed items for our rental. We loved the location. You can hop on the costal path a block from here. This works perfectly for two couples traveling together or families because of the two bathrooms. We will try to stay here if we are in Anchorage again.
We especially enjoyed the very comfortable living room. Many apartments have only enough seating for three or four people, this can seat 10 comfortably with a large coffee table. This was great as our children and grandchildren came to visit us for dinner several times. Made for a great Father's Day get together.
Nice furnishings and very comfortable bed. Convenient to downtown restaurants and the coastal trail. The host was responsive and took care of everything. Would definitely stay again.
