We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint and cozy rental. Felt like home. It was wonderful to find that Pam and Lee stocked with just about everything, from eggs, milk, bread, apples, and cheese, as well as coffee, tea, and all the paper products. Only minutes to downtown. A great location!
Our stay at Cedar Alley was amazing! Pam and Lee thought of everything! The kitchen is so well stocked, and the breakfast supplies were so helpful after 12 hours of travel the day prior. There were fresh baked cookies and candy bowls that were a treat too. The cottage is so sweetly decorated and is very comfortable. Pam definitely goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. She offered great recommendations for places to eat and shop that were spot on.
Weâve never stayed a place so well stocked with anything you would ever need. Every spice, every oil, several coffee options and many treats. We felt like we were in a house where someone actually lived - not a rental property. The pre-loaded back pack for hiking in the woods, including bear spray and insect repellant was amazing (lucky we didnât need to use either)! Washer and dryer were handy. A bit of a short hike to town, but we had a car so no problem. Perfect place for your stay in Anchorage.
Location was as described. It is small but is well stocked with items and the hosts took extra care to have items on hand for us. Location is good -- can walk to downtown.
Fabulous place to stay . Home away from home .. owners even supplied goodies on arrival and breakfast items .. owners very friendly with advice and tourist attractions . A few blocks walk into town
Fantastic house! They have thought of everything! Had bread, eggs, milk ready for us along with a grocery store giftcard! Asked about dietary restrictions, had a stocked bathroom, lots of games, tvs with streaming services. Great location, walkable to downtown. Would highly recommend!!
Our family loved staying at Pam and Leeâs beautiful and cozy home. The home is extremely well equipped and they had plenty of additional touches including cookies waiting for you when you arrive. Lee even suggested where we could spot a moose and sure enough, there it was with its calf. If Iâm ever back in Anchorage, I will make sure to stay with them again. Excellent.
Very comfortable cabin. Beds were comfortable! Unit was very clean. Fresh cookies awaited us upon arrival. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were snacks, bread, eggs, condiments, and a good supply of candy in the cabin. Location was centrally located in Anchorage. Met the owner when we arrived and he made sure we had every we needed. He did a very good job renovating and upgrading an older cabin! Would definitely stay again!
The booking started with great communication and kept up through our stay from the property owners. We were so happy to have a high chair and pack and play available at the property to support traveling with our toddler. The property was clean and cozy- very comfortable and a great information binder was provided to ensure any FAQs were covered. They provided us with some food and snacks which were a perfect to have on arrival- super thoughtful and accommodating. The location was very convenient to downtown- we walked there several times during our stay. There was a cute market a short walk away too. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so smooth and easy!
We lived this gem of a stay near downtown anchorage. Perfectly located minutes from husband's work conference, easy access and great, quiet neighborhood. They provided us with gluten free cookies and milk and a few other goodies, were super responsive and welcoming. We hope to stay here again!
My husband and I visited Anchorage for a week. This was one of the most well stocked VRBO's we've ever stayed in. Easy check-in and check-out process! I would recommend to anyone interested in staying in Anchorage to check this place out!
This vrbo is in an excellent and convenient location. It was very clean and organized. The hosts were helpful and welcoming. We liked having a pack and play and highchair available to use during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised that the hosts took the time to stock the kitchen with sodas, cheese, eggs, bananas, biscotti, coffee, etc.
South Addition/ Cedar Alley was the perfect cozy cottage for my skit trip! The hosts offered my choice of breakfast items, including bread, peanut butter, K cups, milk and coffee creamer. They gave a little tour when I got there, and were so friendly and welcoming! The jet bathtub was also a nice bonus. The location is within 5 minutes of downtown and is plenty quiet. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. I will definitely stay here next time Iâm in Anchorage!
Canât say enough about this incredible property. It literally has every convenience you could possibly want. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs milk cheese creamer and every condiments you could think of. Pantry full of food. Candy dishes in every room if you forgot it at home they have it! Clean and just like being at home! Comfy beds too. Wish we could have stayed longer! Absolutely the best Vrbo ever! Close to town Annaâs walkable to restaurants.
Most well stocked and cozy rental we've stayed at! The hosts were lovely and accommodating. Great location close to everything. Definitely the place to stay when you're in Anchorage !
Quaint place to stay. The property is well taken care of and the hosts go above and beyond. They even made us fresh banana bread and all the little things were taken care of. Next time we are in town we hope we can book this again.
This cottage was perfect for my brother and I after returning from Kodiak Island. The cottage was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. We were able to relax, cook meals and do laundry at our convenience. We took daily excursions and returning to the cottage was like returning home. Lee and Pam were excellent hosts.
I moved into the house in 1994, and purchased it in 1998. Upon our marriage in 1999, my husband moved in with me. For 16 years this was our family home and saw the addition of two children. When the opportunity to buy a larger home nearby presented itself, we moved, but kept the house so we could give others the opportunity to experience downtown Anchorage living.
I bought this house because the area presented the kind of close-knit neighborhood feel I was looking for in a home. Although Anchorage is a very transient place, we have many neighbors who have been here for decades, just as I have been for over 20 years. At the same time, there have been new additions across all age groups, keeping the atmosphere fresh and lively.
You can walk to a bakery, a well-stocked grocery, and many downtown attractions. There are bus stops for 4 public transit buses within two blocks. And, if you're driving, the major roads into, out of, and through the city are easily accessible.
