Breathtaking

The light hits perfectly off of all the decor to make the bright room even brighter. The views are breathtakingly stunning. You have everything you need for a dream vacation. You never have to leave because you feel like the ocean meets you where you are at the huge picture window almost sitting out over the ocean. The decor and colors immediately relax you.

Sun Sand and Soul super fun getaway!

Everything. The location, the view , the plenty of room. Surfside is the place to be. Looking forward for a return trip. Not to mention the 3 days of outstanding music and fun in the sun. The Tedeschi Trucks Band production with Topeka productions was just pure joy and icing on the cake!A super thanks to all involved. Peace Out people,and love to all.

Great place, not perfect.

Love the proximity to the beach and the resort amenities. The decor and furniture in the condo was cute but the fixtures, walls, etc could use some updating. Fine though if you're not spending all your time there!

Above Expectations

The view from this room was awesome. We could see the dolphins swimming along the shoreline. The balcony was spacious. This room had recently been remodeled and looked great and felt compfy. We were there in March and the air temperature was a little bit on the cool side and the gulf water was cold, but the beach and views were still beautiful. The beach sand was neither hot nor cold. It was great having easy access to the beach. The pool was heated and they had pickle ball courts. Overall a great experience.

As advertised

What can I say? This place is exactly as advertised. Comfortable, clean, convenient, spectacular views and nice staff. Please know beach chair service is included with your rental. Just go down to the beach at speak with Curtis at the little tiki hut. He will take care of you. Please tip the chair service staff as they work their tails off. We had a great stay!

Beautiful unit slowly crumbling

Gulf view from balcony is amazing but unit needs to be renovated, DIY tile countertops impossible to keep clean, appliances are antique. Nothing is nice about the interior of unit. Common areas also need update.

Incredible Views

We really enjoyed this unit! The larger balcony and views cannot be beat. We have every intention of returning. A couple of things that were unsatisfactory: no coffee filters and no hair dryer. I called about this and was informed that they are not provided in this particular unit. If that is the case then the listing should not indicate that a hair dryer is included. Tried to use the television remote in the master bedroom and it had no batteries. Attention to small details would make this a five star property! We found the bed comfortable, the cable television - three smart televisions- offered ESPN which was great for watching the football playoffs, and we were provided an ample amount of towels. Place was spotless! Yes- the furniture is dated and the place is a little over-styled but that is a personal preference. For the price, amenities and view it’s an excellent value.

Great condo and location

The location to the beach was literally less than 5 mins. Beach chairs provided as part of condo stay. Great view! The couch in this condo is amazing!!!!

Stunning view !

The best oceanic view we've experienced. The unit was not perfect but the view overrides everything else. Love the way the unit is designed to make the view possible from both the bedrooms and the living room.

Location and view was fantastic. The property was everything we were looking for. The only thing that was a bother was the king bedroom smelling like mold or moldy odor when you entered that part of the condo.

Great place

We have been coming to Surfside for years. This property is great! The views are fantastic! Only drawback was having to buy simple essentials such as salt, pepper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee filters etc. Other than that, everything was great!

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay while here. This place was clean, beds were comfortable, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We asked if we could stay a extra who nights but it was already booked. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back to this location.

Breathtaking!! Clean and beautiful!! Perfect location.

We loved everything about it. At first I was like, the building look a little and across the street from beach but omg... that changed instantly. Not realizing it was easy access to everything from the beach, to basketball court, restaurants, jacuzzi and the greatest view ever! My family and I will definitely come back! And omg.. not to leave out everything in the kitchen you need and super clean.

Beautiful Home

I really enjoyed my stay!!! The home was spacious and clean. The owners provided everything such as glass, utensils etc. This home provided a gorgeous view of the gulf. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Views

Checking in was super easy and the front desk staff were friendly. The location was perfect and near everything. The condo was really cute and I have no real complaints other than the floors being really dirty. The first night we just hung out at the condo and my twins took off their shoes and within almost 30 minutes their feet were black. But other than the floor, Our experience was great. The Views are BEAUTIFUL. Very peaceful and calming. We left most of the curtains open all day. I couldn’t get enough of that view of the water. Overall we enjoyed every bit of the condo/resort.

Nice place but be sure to know when your beach access ends

A little crowded on the beach with all the high rise condos around but nice condo unit with a huge balcony with great views of the gulf. The building itself is somewhat outdated but the unit itself is very nicely decorated. The elevators were a problem since there are only two for such a large building. I would have given this a higher rating if our stay had not ended on a sour note. One of our kids had gotten too much sun a couple of days into our trip and she stayed off the beach our final day. We planned to get everything together early the morning of checkout and go down to the beach that morning to get some family beach pictures. However, our checkout day was on a Saturday, which is when they change the codes for the private beach access. When I asked for the new code (about two hours before our 10:00 AM checkout) I was told that I could not have the new code because that meant I’d have access to their private access the rest of the week. I was told to walk further down and use the private beach access. I guess even though I wasn’t going to have the unit after 10:00, they figured I might stick around and use their access. Very irritating since my checkout date happened to fall on when they change the codes weekly. I didn’t realize that particular amenity ended the night before. Seems like this code change could happen after the 10:00 AM checkout. We weren’t the only ones either asking for it to go to the beach one last time. I hate that I let that part ruin it for me but doubtful that we will stay here again.

Amazing Condo with a Spectacular View

Our stay at 1401 Surfside was exceptional. The condo is very nice and clean with a well-stocked kitchen, two ample bathrooms, and plenty of space. The internet was above average and the views from the large balcony and den window were reasons enough to step away from virtual world concerns. The only cautions I’d offer is re parking (there isn’t always enough) and busyness per check-in and the elevators. Other than that, everyone on site and per Vacasa was friendly and the beach access with two chairs and an umbrella was outstanding. It may be on the expensive side of rentals (at least in June), yet the overall value for the room, location, and amenities is good. We would definitely book again.

Weekend at Surfside

Awesome view! The furniture is a bit dated and there were no trash bags for the kitchen other than the initial bag. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The lady who checked us in was nice and the security guard was really polite.
