Description de l'appartement -
Lumineux appartement de deux chambres et deux salles de bains avec de très hauts plafonds, deux balcons ouverts et un balcon fermé, au 2ème étage, avec ascenseur. Cet appartement a encore les sols en mosaïque de plus de 100 ans (un design différent dans chaque pièce) et les boiseries d'origine sur les portes et les fenêtres. L'appartement peut accueillir 4 personnes sur une taille Queen et un lit double. L'occupation idéale serait de 4 personnes.

Description de l'emplacement -
Dans l'Eixample historique, construit 1850-1910 pendant l'âge d'or de la ville, lorsque les émigrants vers les Amériques retournaient et investissaient leurs revenus dans la ville. Les beaux bâtiments, la plupart récemment restaurés, reflètent un âge d'abondance.

Transport -
L'appartement peut être atteint en taxi depuis l'aéroport. Il est proche de la station de métro Verdaguer, qui se trouve sur deux lignes de métro. Il y a beaucoup de lignes de bus et la voie de circulation passe devant le bâtiment.

A propos de la gestion -
· Nous sommes une petite entreprise familiale. Lauren est originaire de Dallas, au Texas, et Fernando est originaire de Barcelone, en Espagne. Nous gérons actuellement 16 appartements de vacances à Barcelone, 2 maisons meublées à Dallas et 7 appartements à Istanbul, en Turquie. Nous ouvrirons bientôt des appartements à Kiev, en Ukraine.

· Il y a de petites épiceries à une très courte distance et le marché du quartier à seulement 200 mètres.

· L'appartement dispose de double vitrage et de portes supplémentaires dans la chambre principale. Il y aura toujours du bruit de circulation. La deuxième chambre est très calme.

Incredible location and so much charm in the unit!

We spent 4 days in this charming apartment. It is centrally located for everything we wanted to see. (Our focus was Gaudi) We did a tour of the Monserrat Monestary and horseback riding, which got us out of the city. We want to give a shout-out to great breakfast spot, Gabby’s! just a few blocks from this wonderful apartment.

Great location & communication

I stayed here for 3 nights. It was very clean, and the staff was very responsive and helpful with holding luggage. The location is great- surrounded by amazing cafes, restaurants, and shops. It’s only about a 15 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia. Taxis very easy to get in this area. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent central location

Very nice apartment with original woodwork and floors. Very comfortable queen sized bed. The washer and dryer and full kitchen worked well. Markets and restaurants and pharmacies along the street. Make sure to visit the rooftop as you can see the Sagrada Familia from there, just a walk away. Metro stop Verdaguer just up the street and Metro will take you around the city. We would love to come back.

Great place for a week in Barcelona.

The owners were very responsive. Lots of great dining options within 5 minutes in any directions. Easy to walk to things.Less than 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia. Full size kitchen (not that we used) and initial things such as coffee to get you started. Overall, very happy with apartment. Billies Cafe around the corner great place for breakfast and great pizza/pasta one block to left of front door on right side of the street.

Perfect Location

I loved my month is this apartment and I would stay there again if I ever return to Barcelona. I had originally looked for an apartment in Old Town, but am so glad I pick one in Eixample District instead--more sidewalk cafes and services within easy walking distance to the apartment and still close enough to walk to most sites. The apartment is wonderful--old tile floors and really high ceilings, a great balcony, but up to date appliances. Note that the neighborhood is lively and there is street noise, but I found closing the solid wood doors quieted the bedroom enough for me to sleep. Highly recommend both the apartment and the management.

Great Location

Great location. Loved the older building, tall ceilings, and beautiful tile floors. Clean, safe area, and well stocked kitchen. Super easy checkin with detailed instructions to keypad. Street noise may bother some- we closed the shutters and used a white noise app at night. I’m a light sleeper and slept just fine. Would definitely book this exact apartment again!

Avis pour nos 3 mois de vacances - opinion for our 3 month vacations

Bel appartement, bien situé et à proximité des sites et des commodités. Les propriétaires sont très réceptifs à nos demandes et répondre rapidement. La gestionnaire de l’immeuble Liliana est rapide et disponible à répondre à nos requêtes. Le seul bémol est la vibration du passage de certaines lignes de métro que nous ressentons dans le logement. Nice apartment, well located and close to sites and amenities. The owners are very receptive to our requests and respond quickly. The property manager Liliana is quick and available to respond to our demands. The only downside is the vibration of the passage of certain metro lines that we feel in the apartment.

Great Location in Classic Bldg.

PLUSES • Great location. • There is an elevator for the initial lugging of luggage up to the second floor. • The apartment has been renovated with a new kitchen and bathrooms. • There is an old world feel to the apartment,. • A major plus, is the kitchen has a washer and dryer. • The heat,hot water and water pressure were excellent. • Great WIFI internet connection. • The service was very good and responsive. MINUSES • The 2 B/R, 2/Bath has quirky floor plan. • TVs didn’t have any English speaking stations. It would have been nice to have at least CNN or BBC World. • The old world charm can also be read as dark. Fortunately, the windows are large and let in a lot of light. • There is a paucity of dresser space in the MBR. • The master bathroom has a tub/shower combo that is a bit awkward.

Beautiful building and very good location

All arrangements were done very professionally. When arrived, a designated person came to the apartment shortly after we were in. She went over all issues and concerns carefully and was very responsive to our inquiries. The building is very nice and the apartment as well. The furniture is in good condition and all other amenities are accommodating. The reason I took a point away is just because when sleeping on the mattress in master bedroom one would sink into the mattress rather deep. Maybe this issue has been already noted and addressed but if not, I would suggest the owner/management to take my suggestion/comment to hear and replace the mattress. My wife, my two daughters loved the apartment's location and the easy access to a lovely fresh market just down minutes away - nearby there are a number of very good restaurants for any occasion. Excellent location: La Rambla in walking distance (15 minutes)... So, we loved our stay in this apartment and would certainly stay here again if we should plan to return to Barcelona.

Never rent a hotel room again! Perfect for snoring couple - plus each gets own bathroom!

We loved the Principito! Clean, comfortable, beautiful apartment - just as pictured - high ceilings, lots of windows, amazing tile floors, the architectural details really added to the ambiance. Totally modern kitchen and baths. (Could've used a shower curtain around tub, non-slip mat in shower, and a couple extra sets of towels, but washer/dryer saved the day.) Easy walk to Sagrada Familia, cafes, markets, with close-by bus, subway, and taxi stops to take you everywhere else. Prompt and courteous communications with owner and greeter. Would definitely stay here again should we be lucky enough to ever return to beautiful Barcelona! Thank you!

Perfect apartment!

We really enjoyed our one-week stay in this apartment! Charming old-world feel, very spacious and well maintained. The tall ceiling is our #1 favorite feature, it makes the rooms seem so grand! Our #2 favorite feature is the large windows/doors that open to the balcony, with view of the gorgeous Sant Francesc cathedral across the street. Nicely furnished, good lighting (although the bathrooms could use more light above the sink) and excellent air condition system. The beds are comfortable, we slept like babies! 1 Large bathroom (love the huge bathtub!) and another small en-suite bathroom with plenty of plush towels. Kitchen has modern appliances, including flat-top stove, microwave, and dishwasher. We also liked the washer and dryer in the kitchen. Extremely convenient location, we walked to some nice restaurants in the neighborhood, one large fruit/vegetable market, a supermarket and bakery, etc. The famous Passeig de Gracia shopping district and Gaudi’s Casa Batllo are only 5 blocks away. Subway is also nearby, where we took the train to go to the beach and visit the Aquarium. Even though it is facing a busy intersection, the apartment is quiet at night, especially with all the windows closed. Wi-Fi connection went down once and management fixed it quickly. Kind, friendly staff. Many thanks to the wonderful manager Marielle for all her assistance. Highly recommend this apartment. Tip: Don’t forget to take the elevator to the roof-top terrace, the view is spectacular!

Simply wonderful!

Cannot say enough nice things about our stay in Principito. Our group consisted of four women, my best friend, my two daughters (22 & 24) and myself. The level of customer service was evident right from the start. Quick replies to emails, great instructions with multiple transportation options to arrive at the apartment, multiple pay options, etc. Greeted at the apartment by Negre Apartments staff who made themselves readily available even when quite late the first night we forgot the code to re-enter the apartment and had to call them for assistance! Lovely decor, very clean, comfortable, excellent air conditioning, nice balcony and rooftop terrace with a nice view of the Sagrada Familia and the Torre Agbar..... Less than a mile from Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, the beautiful Hospital de Sant Pau, the Catedral, museums, shopping, you name it while still maintaining a neighborhood feel! Easy access to bus and subway transport, and we never waited more than a few minutes on those rare occasions that we felt the need to hail a cab. Slightly further away but still within walking distance to the beach, the zoo, the Ciutadella Park, and all of the interesting and charming features of some of the neighborhoods like Gothic, Sants, Eixample, etc. I would not change a thing if I had it to do over again. This lovely apartment was the perfect refuge to begin and end our days in Barcelona. Hoping to be back soon! There are several cafes, markets, bakeries, bars and restaurants nearby. The lovely Salesians chrurch across the street adds to the charm as the tolling bells mark the hour.

Great location

We definitely recommend this apartment. We were 2 retired couples and this apartment was perfect. Two full sized bedrooms, although the second one was on the small side, as well as two full bathrooms. Would be perfect for a family as well. We arrived earlier than we had expected and the apartment was not ready. We were allowed to lock our luggage in a secure area which left us free to visit this beautiful city. When the apartment was read, we received a phone call to let us know. Katia, the greeter, met us there and gave us a complete rundown of the area. The apartment was as pictured - very charming with beautiful tiled floors and high ceilings, retaining the old world charm but still providing all of the modern amenities. There was a small balcony overlooking the neighborhood as well as a shared rooftop terrace.Great place to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. The apartment is conveniently located, very close to the Sagrada Familia and a short taxi ride to other attractions. There was a small coffee shop across the street, La Crema, for morning cappuccino and a croissant as well as sandwiches and snacks. If we ever return to Barcelona, and I hope we do, I would definitely stay here.
