The place clean and spacious. Great communication with the host. There's alot of buses and the hospital subway line is really close. You can tell this area is for locals. Everyone in the area and restaurants were inviting and friendly.

The property was just as advertised and exactly what we needed. It was convenient to everything! The mini market across the street was a life saver more than once.A piece of advice... Don't always leave the same direction as there were amazing finds both directions.

Great Location

Beautiful 2br apartment right off the beaten path. I loved that we could walk to several coffee shops, or restaurants in the Neighborhood. Many of the big sightseeing areas were just a short car ride.

Wonderful Experience!

This apartment is beautifully appointed, clean, and has all of the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Excellent shower, very comfy mattress, spacious refrigerator and freezer, soothing lighting. Fun location in Eixample, and a great overall vibe. Kind property manager. We are happy and grateful to have enjoyed the space for 1 week. Thank you!

The best place to stay!

We were in Barcelona for a week, the apartment was in the cutest area so easy to get around. The place was all new and redone it was super cute and comfortable after a long day of touring. Monica was so helpful and quick to communicate. She was amazing. Def stay here!

Practical Barcelona Apartment

This apartment is well-situated near the center of the sights one would like to visit in Barcelona. Monica, the host, was delightful and responsive. If there were one suggestion, it would be to find a way to cirulate the air-conditioning into the bedrooms, which were a bit warm. Overall and excellent apartment and especially for the very reasonable price.

Great stay

We loved Monica's apartment, located in a nice neighborhood. Apartment was as described, Monica was easy to communicate with. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, knives etc. for cooking. Only comment is that if you are a light sleeper, there is a bar near the apartment. It didn't bother me, but my husband is a very light sleeper and he did hear noise a few of the nights.

Good location

Overall a very nice apartment in a really nice area of Barcelona. The apartment is just like the pictures, spacious and comfortable, especially the beds! There is a metro stop just a 5 minute walk away from where you can easily access all parts of the city. Monica was very easy to communicate with and always responded very quickly, thanks! There is just one small downside, next to the apartment there is a disco that at weekends might cause some noise late at night, but the windows are very well insulated and kept noise to a minimum. Overall recommended.

Immaculate home with plenty of space

We loved our stay here while visiting Barcelona. The home was clean and spacious. It was well equipped and had all the needed amenities. Be aware, however, that there was no coffee or sugar that you might find at other locations. There was a bit of miscommunication about “flexible” check in times. When we informed the manager that we would only be getting in around 9:30 pm, we were informed that there would be an additional charge of 30. When we pointed out that the description included a flexible check in time, we were told that the charge would be removed and that the VRBO description would be amended to indicate that late check ins were not possible. The location was good with plenty of places to eat nearby. I would recommend Bar Eixample. The only thing is that we were a little farther from the sites than we were used. However, there was a helpful hint in the binder provided to purchase a Hola card that would get you pretty much anywhere in the city either by bus or metro. Overall a great experience, and a big thank you to Monica!

A nice place to stay in the city

The apartment was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and spacious. We cooked a few times during our week stay. The kitchen had few pantry items and the cooking utensils made the kitchen less functional than we preferred. We did not mention our feelings about the kitchen to Mónica, the property manager, so she didn’t have an opportunity to respond. When we did communicate with her she was prompt, responsive, professional and friendly. When she checked us in she did so warmly. All aspects of communication were good. The location was good, being in what seemed to us as the heart of the city. It’s within walking distance to the metro, major points of interest and many restaurants. The city noises were quieted by the double pane windows. We chose to keep them closed while we slept for the quiet, which was fine for the weather we had and the air conditioning. I really liked being within walking and public transportation distance to the major points of interests and being able to experience the daily-life things of Barcelona.

Fabulous spot in Barcelona

My wife and I recently spent 9 glorious days in Barcelona and the apartment located in Eixample was fantastic!! We were hesitant to rent this apartment at first because of the limited reviews, however the excellent communications with Monica led us to take a chance....and we are glad we did! Monica was very prompt in responding to our inquiries and also very friendly and helpful from beginning to end. Check-in was very smooth and easy as Monica met us at the apartment. The location was excellent...it is 5 minutes walk from the Metro, however it was also a great location from which to explore Barcelona on foot. We walked everywhere over the course of 9 days, day and night. We felt very safe walking in the area of the apartment and frankly everywhere. The apartment was perfect...bed was very comfortable, re-modeled kitchen was very modern and well equipped with plenty of dishes, cutlery and cooking pots and pans. We did prepare some meals at the apartment but also ate out. Brand new appliances were a nice touch. The living and dining room was spacious enough and exactly as shown in the pictures. Bathroom was great with the rainhead shower. The place was spotless. All in all, we would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to visit Barcelona. 5 out of 5!!! Muchas gracias Monica!! Nous sommes arrivĂ©s tĂŽt le matin sur un vol de nuit et nous avons pu entrer dĂšs 9h30. Ce fut vraiment trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©!!! L'appartement ressemble aux photos; il est rĂ©novĂ© et il est confortable. Les fenĂȘtres sont doubles et c'est une chance car la rue est passante. Le seul petit dĂ©sagrĂ©ment est l'air climatisĂ© qui fait de gros bruits quelques fois chaque heure. Toutefois, nous n'en avons pas avisĂ© la propriĂ©taire. Peut-ĂȘtre est-ce que cela aurait Ă©tĂ© facile Ă  rĂ©gler.
