     Notre tarif fixe de 225 $ par nuit est valable toute l'année! (Aucune augmentation pour les vacances) Offres spéciales - 170 $ par nuit pour une mini semaine de 4 nuits le lundi. - Jeudi.(hors vacances)

     Vous commencez vos vacances sur le lecteur à la cabine. Admirez des vues spectaculaires sur les montagnes en descendant devant l'historique Fort Stover.

Une fois à la cabine, vous pourrez accéder à une belle cuisine bien équipée, carrelage au sol, plafond en cuivre, lave-vaisselle .. Entrez dans le salon, avec un magnifique foyer au gaz à la pierre, avec centre de divertissement intégré (nouvel écran plat 50 pouces) ), canapé-lit queen size.
    .
Allez dans la salle à manger, avec des siÚges pour 4. Des bûches taillées à la main se trouvent au plafond de la salle à manger, avec éclairage et ventilateur. L'escalier en colimaçon en fer forgé mÚne au grenier.

Dans la mezzanine il y a un lit queen et une demi-bain.

Au bout du couloir est une chambre complÚte avec un lit queen et un placard. Une salle de bain complÚte est également située au premier étage.

Les portes françaises et les planchers de bois franc mÚnent à la salle de soleil avec une vue fantastique sur la riviÚre, foyer, grande cour privée et un bain à remous. Beaucoup de places supplémentaires. Une grande table de ping-pong vous attend!

La zone de pont appelle pour romance et détente. Il y a une balançoire porche pour 2 personnes et un bain à remous pour 6 personnes avec plus de 50 jets! Pour vos besoins de barbecue, il y a un barbecue au charbon de bois. Si cuire avec des bùtons est plus votre style, allez dans la zone de feu de joie, faites griller des guimauves sous les étoiles.
Poisson, nager, tube ou simplement vous détendre.

Il y a aussi la grande cour pour certains football de touche ou chercher avec votre chien.

Ouvrez les portes du divertissement toute l'annĂ©e. SituĂ© sur les rives de la riviĂšre Shenandoah, nager, pĂȘcher, faire du kayak, du canoĂ« ou du tube. Il y a des chemins de terre offrant de belles promenades Ă  vĂ©lo et la cabine est Ă  quelques minutes des sentiers du parc national de Shenandoah .SituĂ© au cƓur de la magnifique vallĂ©e de Shenandoah, vous pourrez faire de l'Ă©quitation, visiter les cavernes de Luray, le zoo ou les vignobles et antiquitĂ©s.

En automne, profitez du magnifique feuillage et en hiver, vous pourrez skier Ă  Massanutten ou aux stations de ski de Bryce.

Propriété riveraine, grande cour isolée et beaucoup, prÚs de la ville de Luray, en Virginie.

AccÚs direct à la riviÚre Shenandoah depuis la cour. Beaucoup d'arbres d'ombrage entourent. Belle vue sur la montagne et la riviÚre. Beaucoup de faune dans la région à voir.

We loved the house! Lots of things to do inside. The kitchen was fully stocked and just the right size. We loved just relaxing on the porch. There was a lot of room for the dog to run outside. The hot tub was so relaxing, and the river is so close. We loved that it’s not near anything. It’s a really wonderful location!

The property was in a very nice location. We enjoyed floating on the river, canoeing, fishing and the hot tub. We had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we encountered were wasps, but the owner came and sprayed under the deck.

Cabin was older, needed some updating. The tv and internet service went in and out. Lots of spiders, which I don’t mind but someone else may not be comfortable with . Parts of road very bumpy. The grounds were very pretty.

Gorgeous location, great

The house was very clean, the location was great, and we had a wonderful vacation. The Starlink internet didn’t work in the house so we eventually bought a dvd player at the nearby Walmart and watched movies due to being unable to stream. Otherwise everything was perfect! It wasn’t the worst thing to be a bit disconnected, but as the description mentions don’t plan on working or streaming in the house.

A wonderful place
so peaceful and just perfect for a quiet weekend to relax. Cute winery just down the road. River view was beautiful. Everything in top shape- loved the hot tub.

Wonderful Retreat

My kids and I loved our time at the Jive. The hot tub, foosball table, ping pong table, fire pit, and beautiful yard by the river provided a wonderful holiday weekend getaway for us. The house has everything you and we can’t wait to return!

Great Getaway

Just right at the jive

We had three adults and a dog stay at the Jive. It was a quiet cozy cabin with a beautiful view of the river. There were plenty of activities to keep us busy inside and out. We can’t wait to return to The Jive to see the rock garden continue to grow.

We found the cabin, the yard and the river access to be amazing. We all had a wonderful time from the cozy furnishings to the sun room, the deck, and the hot tub. Although we didn't take advantage of all activities offered (ie. rock painting, ping pong, canoe, corn hole, etc.) we still had a great time playing with the girls (four legged kind) in the spacious yard and river. We also found it convenient to the park and Luray.

Beautiful property -we did not want to leave!

We loved unwinding on the Shenandoah and taking in the river views. The property is gorgeous, there are birds everywhere and the surrounding fields are full of wildflowers. The hottub and porch were nice in the evening, we wish we could’ve stayed for the entire summer. WiFi/service is a little spotty so be prepared that you may have to go up the road a bit to communicate but we didn’t mind the quiet phones for the weekend!

Birthday Getaway

My husband and I stayed here over a weekend in April to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time fishing by the river, sitting by the firepit, and soaking in the hot tub after a long hike. We would have loved to canoe but did not know how to go down river and get back to the cabin. I would research that before you go if that is something you would like to do. There was no information in the cabin. We could not get the television to work. Wanted to check the news/weather in the morning. Cell service is spotty. Had a great trip though and cabin in adorable.

Needs minor touch up

Great location and overall well equipped. However, one of the upstairs beds did not have a secure frame. There was only two sets of towels even though we had paid for additional people in the room. The property Also lacked a washer and dryer. Due to the remote location and major bumpy/gravel road we didn’t bother looking for a laundry facility. It would also have been nice to have had a tv in the master bedroom.

Beautiful location! No Wi-Fi as advertised

This was a great location. The place was nice...we lived at the firepit and river. The beds have plastic on them and made us wayyyyy too hot. When we come back we will bring our own mattress pad and sheets that fit the matress. There is no Wi-Fi in this cabin. It is obviously located at the house next door. We could stand at the fridge or go on the front porch and get connected to check email. We were not trying to do much. It would never stay connected more than a minute in the cabin. You can get texts and phone calls but no internet. We will be back!!!

Special anniversary getaway

We were celebrating two anniversaries - 16yr wedding anniversary and 6yr post-cancer treatment for my husband and we even painted a rock to commemorate the occasions. What a nice idea/activity to offer! Due to appointments that morning we couldn't get to the property until later in the day so the driveway was a little challenging navigating it for the first time in the dark. But we quickly got over that and were pros in no time! The property and location are totally worth it! We enjoyed the fire pit, the painting activity, the proximity to the park and while we didn't do a lot of cooking, we found the property to be pretty well equipped for our needs. It did feel a little warmer when trying to sleep but the fans helped and for some reason we slept better after moving upstairs. It was unseasonably warm for fall but beautiful weather nonetheless. The only downside was the shower/tub was very slippery. We are both not-quite-50, able-bodied people but I almost slipped getting out and unfortunately my husband slipped and hit his ribs on the morning we were leaving, which made for a sour note after an amazing getaway. I'm still giving 5 stars because everything else was truly wonderful!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I bought this property and built The Jive cabin some years ago, and lived in it for quite a while. You cannot beat the view and the easy walk out flat access to the river just steps from the deck. Love the peace and quiet and seclusion of the wooded river property yet close to town. Being able to walk right out to the river from the yard is amazing. Fishing, canoeing, swimming. tubing,and just sitting on the deck and watching the river is fantastic. I wanted to share this little piece of heaven with others who need to get away from it all and relax.

Views from the property are amazing. Watch the river flow by as you sit on the deck, hot tub or inside in the sunroom.. Mountain views all around. lots of wildlife in the area. Quiet, scenic, private and relaxing.
