Centrally located spacious appartment
The apartment is spacious and offers enough room for 6 people. It is very well located and the city center is nearby. It offers all as described, but all, especially the kitchen and the bathrooms are aged. The stairs are a bit steep, especially with heavy luggage.

Very beautiful property, very homey and easy check in/check out process, however it definitely has a mold problem, especially in the upstairs bathroom. I would still recommend it based on the size, location, comfort and price.

As soon as we arrived at the property we noticed issues in both bathrooms and bedrooms. Taps that fell off when water was turned on and mould throughout the bathrooms and bedrooms (even on the sheets). As we arrived late at night we stayed one night of our planned 4 nights and then checked out the following morning to a hotel at the same price. We notified the property manager straight away and they knew we were leaving and said they would send someone around the following day to review the issues. I’ve sent 4 follow up emails and we have not heard back from them since. Very disappointed that we have potentially lost out on a lot of money for an apartment that just isn’t up to scratch for people to be living in.

Comfortable Apt in Heart of Lisbon
Property managed by “Feels Like Home.” Good communications with them. Had to pay 50% cash on arrival which could be an issue if not aware. WiFi was strong and consistent. TV situation was a mess. Main level tv was missing remote for the actual tv, had to use a tiny button hidden on the back to turn on/off and adjust volume…found this button after reading manufacturers manual online. Upstairs tv was not a smart tv and the satellite provider did not work. Refrigerator had no associated freezer, so beware if staying long term. Wife used Lysol cleaning wipes on all surfaces an the wipes were black with dirt. Used their transfer service to/from airport which worked well for 30 Euros each way. Area is very loud on weekend nights with lots of bars very close by. Apartment is on 3rd floor with no elevator and very narrow stairs….beware with heavy luggage.

Room for improvement
The location was very convenient and close to bars and restaurants. Because of this proximity, we heard drunken singing from the Irish pub around the corner on Thursday and Friday night (late into the night). So bring some earplugs.
The apartment is in an old building and the stairs could be challenging for people with mobility or balance issues. The first floor of the apartment had a strong smell (some sort of cleaning agent) so my friend and I both slept on the second floor. Also, some improvements could be made: the fixture in the first floor bathroom is missing a handle, the towel racks aren't fully screwed into the walls, and the grout in the bathrooms weren't fully clean (some brown/black staining).
With some improvements, I would consider booking this place again. The management team responded to any questions I had quickly. Note: you do have to go downtown to pick up the key from an office but it wasn't really an inconvenience and they mark their office really well so it's easy to find.

Feels like home not so much like home-
We had trouble from the start. We never received the property address and ended up outside their business offices as that was the only address we were given. We called them as instructed and the agent was rude. We submitted our travel docs as requested and received confirmation, however the same agent we talked to said they did not receive them. After much back and forth we received the address and proceeded to property. When we arrived there was no lock box on the door with key. We called again and were then told that it was several doors down on another unit. Communication with Feels Like Home was an issue as we asked for clarification, spelling of the street name, etc... and were treated poorly. Phrases like "as I told you", "like I said". We are not idiots... we were not told and we were not informed. Had we been we would not have needed to call them.The upstairs bathroom in this unit is a tear out - dirty, cockroaches, and the tile is falling apart - it needs a complete remodel. The kitchen has an under-counter refrigerator with no counter over it and looks unfinished. Pictures do not reveal these things... so how can you beware. Otherwise, the unit is functional and just fine. I would not stay there again unless the upstairs bathroom has been remodeled.

Hervorragend mit kleinen Macken
Ein fantastisches Maisonette-Apartment mitten in der alten Oberstadt im typischen Stil der historischen Häuser dort, mit schmalem Balkon zur Straßenseite und zusätzlich wunderschöner Dachterrasse. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, das klassische Ausgehviertel und die berühmte Electrico 28 in wenigen Gehminuten entfernt. Über kleine Defekte (etwa defekte Schubladen) sieht man gerne hinweg. Klarer Punktabzug aber wegen erheblichen Schimmelbefalls im unteren Bad. Zum Glück gibt es noch ein zweites Bad im Obergeschoss.
Die schlechte Nachricht zum Schluss: Nach unserem Aufenthalt haben die Eigentümer die Preise um mehr als 27 Prozent (!) erhöht und die Maximalbelegung von ursprünglich 6 auf jetzt 4 Personen gesenkt. Für uns kommt diese Wohnung daher nicht noch einmal in Frage. Schade!

Great location in Lisbon
Nice location- for Barrio Alto it isnt just above a bar/restraunt, so not as loud as it could be, but when people were out walking home it could be. It was cold enough that windows were closed at night- so we all slept well. Really close to a many beautiful things to see, restaurants, bars, cafes, stores, architecture. Home looks like photos, with a little wear and tear, couldn't figure out how to buzz someone in, and with 1 key privided, we had to run up and down 3 flights to let in friends/family.
Our Details: 4 adults (40-50 y.o.), 1: 15 y.o. girl, 1: 9 y.o girl. We always felt safe during our stay and walks on streets. We enjoy food/music/nightlife/exploring/all types of people- which is important in this area. On demand hot water- yet it was clicking a lot- may need work, pull out sofa up and downstairs. Upstairs bathroom shower will get messy if curtian isn't tucked in properly. Towels, bedding, plates, glassware provided, no extra toilet paper or paper towels. TV good. On top floor with no elevator, narrow stairs- quite a workout in Lisbon with hills and stairs- is difficult with large suitcase unless strong. Once you figure out Lisbon, it is easy to find the apartment, but my google maps had a hard time getting us to the key pick up- if you weren't familiar with the city.
This is a place I'd really recommend!

Very nice unit and location.
Unit was great and loft enabled us to spread out a bit and location was perfect. One surprise was that the key pick up location was not near the unit. Thank goodness we checked Google and kept our airport taxi or we would have been hauling luggage up cobblestone hills.
